I just grabbed a new book and feel like a sponge trying to learn. Creator knows I have more questions than answers just keep digging

There I got my answer I needed. Old and finally getting at knowledge,like a sponge. Almost fun to learn or more aware of my intuition before.

Sorry, but not sorry. I've read Enoch and many other apocryphal texts and they didn’t run me away from the Lord, they actually drew me closer to Him. My understanding opened up a lot more. Like all things, I read them with a grain of salt and I let Holy Spirit show me what was for me and the importance of each one. The Spirit of the Lord will not let you be deceived!!!

I think the fact that Jude clearly read it is proof enough that there is nothing wrong with reading it.
Personally I think we should just read it without necessarily taking everything as pure fact.

Yes, I felt a stirring in my spirit that lead to a more appreciation of Jesus, His Word and a desire to worship Him. I feel there is so much of it that could not come from the mere imagination of man so I sense another inspiration was involved.
Exactly, this guy trys to make it seem like random people got together and put together there imagination for this book. The Book of Enoch was found with the Dead sea scrolls proving it existed well before. Jude under inspiration of the Holy Ghost in his letter quoted the book of Enoch and in the Gospel of Matthew Jesus did too when he said to the Pharisees "You are wrong because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection people neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels of God in heaven" Jesus called it Scripture and that verse is found in the book of Enoch.

Enoch’s book was preserved on the arc through the flood. The book of Jude mentions Enoch’s book. I don’t see anything in Enoch that contradicts scripture. It adds details to events recorded in scripture.

Enoch was a man that walked with God (loved God) and was a prayer warrior. I can only strive to have a relationship witj God like he had.

I've read this book three times it blows my mind. Pastors have told me never to read it. I've read that one and I've read the book of jasher and the book of jubilees all these books are very interesting.

So Jasher is a pharasaic book wanting to be scripture and authoritative. The Hebrew word Yashar ישר simply means righteous. It’s in the name of Israel ישראל YaSHaREL, the righteous of God. So there is no book called jasher, it’s simply a book called righteous or upright, or a righteous book.
Jasper was not found among the DSS but jubilees was. Jubilees is said to be part of the Torah and has many examples that it used to be. Jubilees is the righteous book that was removed from the Bible do to the Pharisees hating the calendar and wanting to be interpreters of the law instead of the priests. Jubilees explicitly uses the Enoch calendar and has a huge emphasis on the Torah which is why the Pharisees threw it out, it threatens their authority. Jubilees holds Enoch and his book in high regard along with many essential details prior to the exodus for timeline purposes. As well as a chronological order of events that the genesis narrative does not follow, and can be proven by keeping track of certain peoples ages at certain times when events occur.
Jubilees is true book Jasher is not, for many reasons. Especially evasive if lines up a lot with the Targums which also was edited by the Pharisees.

The book of Enoch was found in the same cave with Isaiah in the dead sea scrolls. It, among other books, need to be put BACK into the canon. The devil has hidden the word of God from us long enough. The fear of God is in the book of Enoch and the devil don't want you to have that. Go read it if you haven't.

@@angelabratton3668 Perhaps you should go learn your history. The book of Enoch used to be in the canon but was removed. He's not powerless. And God isn't stupid either. He made sure the gospel was still true in its form even without the missing books in the current canon. But they most certainly belong there.

Very informative video without spending hours to explain it for my short attention span. I always felt it can’t have been me at to be in the Bible because God would have made sure it was if it was meant to be, but this video gives me peace that I was discerning correctly. I have friends who are getting into ‘Christian mysticism’ and one follows a well known’mystic’ who believes aliens built the pyramids and uses the book of Enoch to support his theory. I tried to watch a bit of his videos as I wanted to see what she is into BUT my spirit was screaming at me to turn it off. I felt such confusion come over me and spent days seeking God about it and He said - what has been the fruit of you looking into all this? I realised it’s been confusion. That isn’t God.

I've always been interested in the book of Enoch but never truly understood the origins or authenticity, I may still read it just to get a better understanding of it. 🙏
If you want some people defend the book of First Enoch but they reject the added accounts like the supposive 2nd Enoch or 3rd Enoch which I heard turns Enoch into metatron which oc.cult and unscriptural.
A group like the god culture who are also on youtube have videos going indepth about First Enoch.

I came across a guy on RUclips called Trey Smith, of God in a nutshell, and he goes into great detail about the Nephilim. I would strongly suggest looking him up. His research is Year's worth of studies of the Nephilim and Enoch.

What I find kind of fascinating is the fact that the Ethiopian Orthodox have included it, and the fact they have monolithic churches that are older than the St. Peter's basillica. I personally have been in the churches in Ethiopia and it's truly mindblowing. I like the reverence to the Ethiopian Orthodox, but I really wonder WHY? Why do the Ethiopian Orthodox have included it?

Was the book of Job written by Job or written within his lifetime?
Much like the book of Enoch the honest answer is, no one knows, so those can’t be a valid reasons to discount Enoch 1 as canon. When you research the book of Enoch you will find that it was accepted by the Jews, prior to Jesus, as canon. Then between 200-300 AD, a small Jewish council removed it from their scriptures.
Do you know why?
Because the book clearly prophesied and pointed to Jesus being the Messiah. This is also why Isaiah 53 was eventually removed from the Hebrew Bible because it is also a clear prophecy about Jesus being the long awaited Messiah.

Pastor Vlad should we not use the Ethiopian Bible since it was written 800 yrs before King James Bible? Please advise. I would think it's more accurate, what are your thoughts? Please advise.

Another thing about book of Enoch i heard is clarification of when years start, because first mention of newyear starting is Exodus chapter 12, though no mention in books prior that ar in official oldtestament.

Based on the comments, many still don’t understand what the pastor just said about the book. The authors are unknown, because Jude quotes a passage from the book, doesn’t necessarily mean that the entire writing is authentic or reliable, and lastly, it isn’t included in the Cannon of scripture, because God says so via the Holy Spirit’s guiding our forefathers, as to what books should be included.
That's interesting.. because 1 thing that stood out to me, was how in Enoch, it says Jesus comes with 10,000s of his holy ones. But the bible says, Jesus comes back with the 144k.. so that too was a little confusing... ?

Neville johnson whom i considered as God’s general (now deceased) had a great teaching about Enoch. He even met Enoch when he had heaven visitation.
My belief is because it describes to many things known of the Kingdom of Heaven.

I think 1 Enoch is fine to read as a historical document/account. The fact that it was in the Dead Sea scrolls I feel validates it a bit more as well. When I was looking into 2 and 3 Enoch awhile back I feel like the Holy Spirit was telling me NO NO AVOID but did not feel that conviction with 1 Enoch at all. There’s a book out there that I haven’t read yet but it contains Genesis, Jubilees, Jasher and 1 Enoch and fills in all the extreme details and backstory of that time. Might be worth checking out someday.

If you would like more accurate information, I invite you to take a few minutes to read this through... The same Holy Spirit that woke me up from my religion led me to the Dead Sea Scrolls (Which there are multiple copies of Enoch within them)...
The Body of Christ needs to have a discussion on the Bible with regards to the Dead Sea Scrolls. Alot of credible scripture has been left out and that's why the Scrolls aren't talked about. It would force us to change. If we aren't willing to give up Pagan holidays like Christmas & Easter though, I guess that shows how people really feel about Yahweh. It shows we will put our own personal feelings and culture over his direct commands to STAY AWAY from ANY form of PAGAN worship. The Dead Sea Scrolls not only confirm many of the Bible books we have but give us CLEAR and indisputable insight that many of the books were among those the Apostles likely read.
Our Bible is of Catholic origin due to being created at the Coucil of Rome. Council of Nicea ushered in the blatantly Pagan tradition Easter. These are all facts that are easily researchable. We need to really examine if we should listen to a religion that made idol & pagan worship in Christianity appear acceptable.
The Dead Sea Scrolls are older than the Masoretic Texts(what is currently used to support the Bible) so I respectfully disagree with Vlad due to their being MULTIPLE copies of the book of Enoch found preserved. Jubiblees was also among the top scrolls found in which there was a plentiful amount of among other scrolls excluded from what we know as our Canon.
Our Bible has 66 books in it. And for anyone with any amount of bible knowledge, 6 biblically is Satans number since it indicates... incomplete. Among Bible scholars, its generally agreed upon that the number 6 scripturally refers to incomplete or not being complete. Also representative of mans sinful nature or a lacking of sorts.
We should not regard the Catholic church as an authority since it was not Christian at conception and NOT Christian now.
We need to get back to accepting things that are clearly Holy Spirit led. And if that sounds crazy, then let me just say this... the Bible we read is a compilation of words from ANOINTED Christians that we regard since they were influenced by what.... Holy Spirit! NON Holy Spirit led men do not have authority to dicate what is and is not scripture.
I'm sorry... But this day and age of not being Holy Spirit led in the church needs to be buried and done away with. It's disrespectful to Yahweh, to Yeshua and to the prophets and priests and apostles.
Holy Spirit is our one true authority. The Scriptures did not come from theologians. It came from Spirit anointed men & women who were ordinary people. The Apostles were ordinary men who changed the course of history alongside Christ.

Ken Johnson does a lot on the Dead Sea scrolls and works to make sure they are accurate or is similar to canon. If I remember correctly Ethiopian Enoch and Dead Sea scrolls Enoch are very similar. Some Enoch’s are off. We have canon but others can be used for history.
What about the other books that some types of Christians eg catholic or orthodox say was part of the bible but man took them out cauee they didnt like them .eg psalm 151, extra chapters of daniel and esther, judith etc
If Jude (who is Jesus' half-brother), quotes 1 Enoch and mentions Enoch himself half a dozen times, then we can safely say that 1 Enoch was a book which was in Jesus' household. Jude was His brother, and so they must've studied 1 Enoch.
2 & 3 Enoch are gnostic lies to discredit 1 Enoch.

1 Enoch is the only legit one, written by Enoch, the oldest text on earth…. 2 and 3 Enoch were written by Jewish rabbis almost 1,000 years later…. First Enoch is the only one in the Dead Sea Scrolls.…. If something is in the Dead Sea Scrolls, you can trust that it is the inspired word of God if it’s not in the Dead Sea Scrolls than it is not inspired.
1 Enoch, use the RH Charles version. Also check out 2 Esdras (found in the 1611 KJV) and the book of jubilees.
@@ElaynaTillMan16 Thanks, I'll need to pray more about this, I know I've stumbled on material on Enoch in the past and dread fell on me when reading just a portion of it, it felt dark and nothing like scripture.. I know there are diff versions, but since there is also fake ones and dark knowledge, I never felt led to read the book of Enoch, maybe because i didnt want to fall into deception or taint my spirot with the wrong book, the book of knowledge, eeks...

You can call the book of Enoch fake yet call Christmass true even though it is a pagan holiday. I thank God we dont have to take the words of men for anything. We have an anointing that teaches us all things. The book of enoch is scripture from God. Whoever doesnt believe it, its totally up to them. It does not make it false.

They're scared of everything and if its very non traditional people start to be scared of new info cause they don't want change. They don't want people to know more so they can control the narrative of Christianity. Enoch answers so much questions non believers and believers have. But we have become a religion of paranoia and superstitions and just same old Cherry pickers. Put in what they want and leave out the deep dark truths. I was wondered why beauty, makeup, occult, witchcraft, medicine,giants, where did it come from? It shows in genesis man has to been SHOWN and TAUGHT, we didn't just make up stuff. A lot of people think that maybe all the heros in Greek myth, and other gods and Godesses may have been mistaken for Nephilim.
