glad this is online. I just want to go back to this day. DEVO cancelling , and the Descendents replacing them on the line up, is what made me go to fffest that year.

I WAS THERE right in the pit jumping around like i was a teenager again. Insane show and festival overall that year (bad religion, weird al, etc.) Best FFF so far and the last at Waterloo Park, (before moving to Auditorium Shores). I really hope they get as cool as line up as that year again, it seems lately that the lineups have been declining a bit, sadly.

It's funny to see that Milo forgets the lyrics on Nothing With You and Talking hahaha, this was the first time they played those songs live. Descendents are fucking awesome! What I wouldn't give to see them live, once in a while. Hypercaffium Spazzinate is freaking amazing! Long live Descendents.

Word on the street is that Milo's been havin' a hard time keepin' his voice for live sets. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that they took 8 years off and he's almost 50. Still awesome. That's one of the best front-men in punk history and he's giving it his ALL. Pun intended.

That's interesting, bcuz if you listen to the ALL Live Plus 1 CD, the DESCENDENTS version, Milo sounds great. And that was during the Everything Sux tour.

Hey what is the best recent (2010 and on) descendents concert (best sound quality), I want to put the best sounding one and put it on a cd r and clean it up I think itll be dope but I cant decide which ones the absolute best. right now im thinking fffest.

Umm this is still a great great band, i'm just a little sad for Milo's voice sometimes.
OK I should have said for me, yes he may be a fan like you and I but what would you say if I went up there and sang and you didn't like my voice?
in an interview he said that he had already problems with his voice during the everything sux tour…plus they now all live in different cities/states so they can't really practice together. milo said he prepared for the reunion show with a karaoke cd in his living room…needless to say that you can't really strengthen your voice that way.

yeah, no doubt about it…but he said something like he was often sick and that he had to sleep a lot so his voice was able recover. just an indication that apparently voice problems are nothing new for him. I saw the descendents in berlin 2011, he sounded great but somehow different from what i know of the old shows…the next day in london he lost his voice completely after one or two songs so he indeed seemed highly out of practice
