- Stanley Druckenmiller, Duquesne Family Office chairman and CEO, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the state of the economy, the Fed's inflation fight, interest rate outlook, impact of AI technology, government spending and President Biden's economic policies, why Druckenmiller cut his Nvidia stake, latest market trends, and more.
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, aiming to retire comfortably.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation

Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape...
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable..
I appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the team behind Kerrie’s trade signal service...
Kerrie Farrell program is widely available online...
Investing with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investors, as most failures and losses in investment usually happen when you invest without proper guidance. I'm speaking from experience..
On the grand scheme of things, once you understand the potential of trad!ng, you can bet on it but I think people need the education to fully understand...
As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.
well as you know bigger risk, bigger results, but such impeccable high-value trades are often carried out by pros.
People dismiss the importance of advisors until they are burned by their own emotions. I remember a couple of summers ago, following my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to assist my business stay alive, so I looked for qualified consultants and came across someone with the highest qualifications. She has helped me raise my reserve from $275k to $850k, despite inflation.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?.
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘MICHELE KATHERINE SINGH '. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up and wrote her
up, to schedule a call. many thanks
He bought Nvidia after telling everyone a recession was coming.
not correct AND he frequently repeats: "i could be changing my mind any second"
THIS is what makes a great trader/investor, know when not to play!
@@jonasscheuer7639 then what is point of lecturing others, going on TV, ....?
@@jonasscheuer7639 simp harder why don’t you
Those are two separate things. NVDA can go up during a recession.
He”s always 100% invested. Don’t try to time the market.
Any specific guide. I'm from Australia how do I go about this? I think I'm interested how can I get in touch with mrs Rose Carlos?
There is her line👇👇

The only perplexity is the speed at which this guy doesn't talk
Don’t worry. His brain is moving fast. He’s one of the greatest investors in history.
E, batryn😮
How convenient, he’s pumping the startup he owns
and u wouldn't right
@@harrymartin8019 wrong
He disclosed he owns it though. I don’t see what’s wrong with that. It’s a good product too.
@@DynamicUnreal I prefer the commercials to come at the commercial break, not during the show
Admittedly it’s a pretty great company.
so many big fund manager annouce they cut nvidia holding at 350$, 480$, 750$, 850%. who do you look now
By the time you hear about a stock on TV, it is time to sell, not buy. Do the opposite of whatever it is it seems like they want you to do.
BS. By that logic everyone would have sold NVDA at 300.
@@RajDeelish Not too many get to run like NVIDIA stock ran.
Grandpa Druckenmiller explaining the world ...
Agreed
Try perplexity because I'm investing in it after I made a big long-term mistake of selling Nvidia. 😂
do you even know what he owns? 15% of his total portfolio is in NVDA, 50% is in calls. you are clueless.
@@Henry-oo8op No I'm definitely clued-in on this guy and so many trying to manipulate the market. I'd double-check his holdings again before posting nonsense. In this interview he's trying to push another AI search engine he has significant holdings.
So if AI fails what is the next technology? Claytronics or quantum computing?
5G failed and so did Bitcoin. 3D printing, too. They’ll make up a new tech hype to keep the bubble going. But Ai was something I laughed at when it was hyped, and still laugh at today. What used to be called “chatbots” and despised by anyone who had to use them when interacting with any customer service chat service suddenly became incredibly transformative.
I’ll never underestimate how easily humans can be tricked and conned. Minimal critical thinking. Relabel a chatbot as “Ai” and suddenly it’s amazing. All these Ai chatbots are garbage. I tried using them a few times and they were exactly as I expected them to be. Extremely general and biased repackaging generic Google results. My biggest concern is there are enough people out there who will take these chatbots as matter-of-fact and the information worshipping will be done at the Ai Altar where diversity of information becomes consolidated to a single chatbot that people mindlessly gravitate towards.
Megatrend but only holding for 2 or 3 years.
who is his young partner?
I asked perplexity and it didn’t know 😂
He's an AI robot
Nu
I love this look for cnbc. Let Joe do the interviews. Sorkin is a waste of money and space. Glad they are letting Joe run things - he’s a gem. This strategy is going to boost cnbc ratings a lot. Great interview.
We will see on AI. With it being embedded into search engines for free it will be interesting to see if the averag joe needs it more than that. In otherwords will it just complement technology we already have?
I love Druckenmiller but why keep refering to his 'young partner' instead of just calling him by his name
His lover!
Thanks Stanley, next time you're in town give me a call. 4 years you've been telling us the the government is spending too , heading into a depression. Meanwhile you've been hoarding all those stock profits which were the results of the government spending a lot of money..
ai needs rate cuts. or talk of them coming also helps.
won't go up unless fed cuts rates.
Da
Bro was load on the 2 yr TB in dec.n got wrecked thinking the boys were going 2 call it in march. Look it up. I caught it
Perplexity AI seems like a huge competitor for the big players
You short NVDA before earnings because guys like Stanley going buy shares cheaper.😂
Perplexity stinks. I have a better one. But it goes to show that normies always are late
Which one is better? Would love to check it out.
It will make life worse for people who want changes but good for people in Mental Hospitals.
Is it me or has Stan lost a step?
This whole AI is gonna be an epic failure like most of the other trends
you don't know that. you might be right, but you definitely don't know the future.
Like the semiconductor, internet, smartphones, online advertising???
Depends on how you define success. It's success largely will be determined by what advancements are made in the field.
It won't matter since you are not invested in it eh?
I love how everyone is collectively roasting this man
I would be worried if I was a real worker because You could be replaced by a Robot.🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖

It will be a Robotic World and then they will turn on Real Humans. It will be something like the Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger but Arnold Schwarzenegger won't save the day. Wait for it...
It's coming.
They wouldn't be worried about it if it weren't something .
Tech crash incoming
An out of touch old guy.
If AI can't be censored then there will be no place for it long term.
Listened to the interview this morning. Had heard so much about Druckenmiller being a "legendary investor". Found out he's a schmuck, who understands little about inflation or China.
But u are brilliant right
@@harrymartin8019 yes and he claims his portfolio is much larger than Drucks
@@harrymartin8019 Yes, as a backseat driver...
Interesting take. What doesn’t he understand about inflation?
Yet he is extremely wealthy. Dimmwit
Ai is all hype. Existing technologies repackaged and pitched as “Ai.” Chatbots, debugging, autocomplete, are now called “Ai.”
Bitcoin and 5G were supposed to change everything. 5G is just faster than 4G which was faster than 3G. Didn’t change much other than you can stream a RUclips video better in a crowded urban area.
Bitcoin hasn’t changed anything other than being a new avenue to speculate in. The transaction costs to actually use Bitcoin in commerce are astronomical and take 45 minutes to process. Meanwhile, I can tap to pay or use Venmo. Transaction takes anywhere from 1 second to 30 seconds, and the cost is trivial/nonexistent.
A jew that works closely with soros nahhh ima gooddddd
u must be fun at parties
What does his religion or ethnic group have to do with anything? Showing your ignorance.
A racist commenter on RUclips. nahhh ima gooddddd
First, I can barely listen to this. These business cheerleaders are the dullest crowd you can imagine, lol. As for chatting with AI bots, unfortunately the bot is going to be politically programmed, so it won't have answers to any of my questions. But obviously it can be used for other things, just not the good and most useful questions. Cryptos should go to zero though, you pay for software that you can program yourself, yeah, that's going to zero, you were scammed.
