Wow just came across this I lived in the old wardens house up by the car park for 4 years 2008 to 2012 used catch a few small fish of an evening in Summer with my step son my daughter was born In the house so it will always hold fond memories
@@catchmoremedia in the summer yes in the winter not always we got snowed in for over a week once couldn't get in or out my step son did an 8 mile round trip in a blizzard to get napies and food for my daughter I was about to put an SOS out when a warden finally got through in a 4x4 to check on water pipes and he took me and the lady of the farm next door down to Holsworthy to stock up I don't know if you know but the North Devon and Cornwall border runs right down the centre of the lake which meant the gritters from each council never gritted the two hills that go out from the end of the drive they used to turn round at the top each side so we were stuffed
