World War 2 in Ulster amateur 1980 8mm film

This is an 8mm film made in 1980. It was originally entered in the 'Calling Young Film Makers' competition section of the BBC's 'Screen Test'. I had to digitally scan the film and then record the soundtrack separately and re-unite them on video editing software - not as easy as it sounds. It's not exactly Panorama but it does contain interviews with grandparents who are sadly no longer around. Incidentally my grandfather who is interviewed in the film had an older brother, John, who was killed on the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme in July 1916 while serving in the Royal Irish Rifles he was only about 18.
