Allocate 12gb of ram to the game, it'll get you around a five fps increase.

if you have mid pc (maybe low end idk if it works so well) but lunar client did the job for me atleast. default minecraft fps around 300-600. With bsl shaders like 70-130 (and the low points mainly hit on rain "ground reflection thing to be exact") with render distance 10 on gtx960 4g and fx8350 8gb ram 1600mhz.

A tip for laptop is to keep charging and play without charging laptop can get 60 fps but with charging you can get 300 or 250 fps without shaders
