My favorite episode! Wow wow wow, amazing! Couldn't have two better dudes to show it either 👍🙏 Thank you
Plenty of species covered on this video. Thanks. Nice scenery too.
You can tell Clint loves fishing and being on the water.
Awe! Home water! Caught tons on that spot especially
beautiful video
What an amazing ecosystem there! And those bulls 💪, awesome fish!
Great episode!
Nice video Phil & Clint 🎣.
Ok now all I want is to go fish there. See you this fall!
Excellent video guys. Loved it. Hope to do that someday. God Bless and Tight Lines, Anthony Hipps
Those last 2 fish were worth it! We get Bulls that big and bigger in the Metolious here in Oregon, but they aren't anadromous....not going to fight near as hard. BEAUTIFUL fish!
And I gotta say, nymphing an egg pattern beats slogging a bunny leach on running line. At least it's actually fly fishing. 😂
Was out there last Spring. MUST go back in the Fall! Wow!
Awesome!! 👏👏
2 seconds in and I already feel like I'ma watch something special 😌
That was some incredible bull trout Euronymphing!! Congratulations!
HUGE BULLY!
Living that dream alive!
Nice video. Euro nymphing is great. I really like that technique. Remember Phil, try to always rest your index finger on the blank. Sometimes you feel the bite before even seing it. Good luck. If you ever want to explore more that technique, give me a hit. It will be my pleasure.
*most times you feel the bite
@@conorlinehan4434not true. You shouldn’t rely on feeling the bite, that means you probably missed a lot of takes. That’s what your sighter is for.
What weight rods were you guys using for those bulls?
Great video!
How would a tenkara or keiru setup work in these conditions?
How long are the rods used in the video?
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Great vid! Love seeing Phil on the moving water! What’s the advantage of walking down the bank when a fish runs down river vs letting out line and staying in one place?
If you let line out, the chances of having issues/problems fighting and landing the fish are greater. Best idea is to move your fish and lessen the line out between you and fish.
Between every section is a tippet ring... Doesnt that get caught up on the eyelets? Wouldnt a blood knot be better
Ever see how small a tippet ring is?
Nympho-maniacs, lol
I get goosebumps when I hear Phil Rowley hosting
May as well just centre-pin, eliminate the fly line not being used, it’s essentially what’s being done.
Boober time
True. Fly fishing egg patterns is basically just pretentious bead fishing.
“Found a fish, first cast” the man says after demonstrating a handful of casts.
I never fished for bull trout but I always pictured bull trout being too big and aggressive to sip on little nymphs and egg patterns. Especially since a large adult can easily eat a 10" cutthroat or whitefish like its nothing. Catching fish is always fun but wouldn't a big ol streamer be a much more exciting way to catch a bull?
Gotta fish what works when its that time of year.
No mention of a Polish, or Vladi, I see.
Those bulltrout didn't just eat eggs they also ate the adult salmon 😅
Beautiful fish !! But that's woodbooger , Bigfoot , Sasquatch territory I'll pass !
Those are pretty small for Bull trout... Grow much bigger in Montana/Idaho
That’s what I thought, I think they’re fishing to low in the system. In WA we get monster bulls same time of year just way up in the headwaters
Turned it off after I heard "egg patterns" and "competitive angler"
😂😂
I wouldn't be fishing there without a Glock 10 mm on my hip.....along with the bear spray.
10mm is a peashooter. Not enough knockdown for grizzlies.
Common sense goes along way. Clint's never pulled the spray out of the holster. He is doing something right. You won't be packing a Glock here anyway, it's Canada.
