Everyone has their own way to make suet. I did a video a while back showing how I make mine. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. Many roads lead to Rome

Nice work, Larry. I think you're going to attach birds from all over the country.

Nice video. You might want to think about making oat flour to use for your flour. It's very easy to make in a blender. Have a good day!

Great idea Jimmy. I’ll tuck that away for future use

Butterflies and Birds in the Backyard really does a lot on teaching about bird feeding, etc along the gulf coast of Florida. You should check her out, Larry.

Your suet is close to perfection…but I cannot afford to do it that way. I use lard & no-salt peanut butter, sunflower seeds, organic raisins, corn meal, few old fashioned oats, roasted unsalted peanuts & hope I am doing no harm.

I really can’t afford to make it very often. I was shocked at the butcher shop. I didn’t look at the price before I took it to checkout. I was too embarrassed to take it back. The butcher at ingles will save it for me but it takes several days for him to get very much. It’s a lot cheaper there. It sounds to me that you’re doing no harm.

Good review , but way to much to work for me. I have heard starlings do not lkie plain suet but I can not fine it anywhere Larry. I will keep watching until the end.

I say bull. Birds need salt and sugar in there diet also. I’ve been using commercial peanut butter for many years. My birds literally destroy my suet. Organic peanut butter is cost prohibitive.

I have seen several suet recipes that call for sugar, none for salt. I agree, this was costly to make. I could have titled it as the most expensive suet in the world. Thanks for sharing
