- In 2007 I bought a couple of home made remix CD's of A-ha's first two albums, and a Duran Duran compilation, by some chap called Danny Boy. He did some pretty good mixes, and more importantly, in the 80's style. This is just one of the tracks. Enjoy!

It´s an excellent track, really keeps the essence of that catchy and unforgettable song. Nowadays pseudo Dj'S only add modern and 90s style beats and they call it a "remix".

This version is the closest Ive got (cos I lost that other Foreign version years ago) and its much better that the others on utube, closest to the eited one I remember. :) Thank you uploader, you made my day.

When this song originally came out I was a secret fan - so was my bro in the navy and he brought home from Dubai or a similar place (he is in the royal navy) a copied version of the original album. That copied version had a Take on me track that was unbelievably better than the 12 inch that was released. Mustve been re-edited for the copy. I hold my hands up now and say yes we recieved a copy version ( after I had bought the album anyho). Never played the original album since I heard the other.
