Like always you nail it to the point. I make my own Ichimoku-Cloud-Indicator for MT5 to change the shift parameter for the cloud (0 to +26) and for the chikou span (0 to -26) to backtest different shifts and use lower timeframes. Another question is: Did you ever test the Richard D. Wyckoff/Tom Williams/Richard Ney method of Volume-Spread-Analysis? Another indicator i like to understand is "Cumulative Delta" Volume indicator. Reason: It can be very helpful in Wyckoff's method to know if volume is buying or selling because in Forex we have no centralized volume, only tick_volume from the broker. If you can provide some information or a link it would be fine.
Hi. Thanks for the additional indicator suggestions. I've made a note. WRT volume data for Forex, yes you are right. Because Forex doesn't trade on a central exchange, you are reliant on your broker's own data. You could I guess build something to scrape the volume from multiple brokers and consolidate, but it wouldn't be simple and it's not something that I have done. Thanks for the suggestions, Martyn
@@Darwinexchange Another question is: Is it possible in Forex to calculate the volume on the bid and the volume on the ask to see incoming and outgoing volume?
Hi Christian. I certainly like the 'idea' behind the indicator. Whether or not I think the indicator has value will come out of the research and testing I undertake, which I will be reporting back on in future videos. The jury is still out... Martyn
it was a nice video, we expect you to prepare nice videos about indicators and strategies, thank you..
That's the plan Nazim :) Thanks, Martyn
Outstanding video.
Very much appreciated, hope I will be joining your recommended platform in a year or two. At least that's the plan.
Thanks, and it will be great to have you on board, Martyn
