Excellent video, followed for my SLX M7000 after a failed attempt with another tutorial and voila perfect gearing.
    Thank you!

thanks a ton for this video. i just bought the entire 11-speed SLX groupset and I'm currently installing it. I searched on here because I wasn't sure which side of the cable cinch bolt the cable threads through, but this video goes into such awesome detail that I'm going to use it for the entire install. I didn't even think about adjusting the high and low bolts before installing the chain, so hopefully this will help me. I really suck at adjusting rear derailleurs and always watched the Park Tool video, adjusted as much as I could then had my LBS finish it up. Hopefully by following this video I'll be able to do it all by myself.
03/28/24 Update: I did follow this video and it worked perfectly, except it turns out my derailleur hanger was bent so i had to take my bike to a bike shop and they straightened it, but they said if the hanger wasn't bent it would have been perfect. I'm watching this video again because I'm switching from SLX to Shimano Cues today so I'll be using this video again for the install. I also think my derailleur hanger is again bent, so I'll probably have to take the bike to a bike shop again and have them straighten it out.

This is a great video and you talk slowly enough for me to follow. I take it you flip the clutch lever back at the end?

You can use a TanPan adapter from Wolftooth Components in the US to make 11s Shimano road shifters work with 11s Shimano mountain derailleurs and cassettes.
