Could not have explained it better, thanks! My only suggestion is buying some cable strippers :)

So the Aux connector you linked allows for 6.5mm, and that means I need to fit both wires into that. So I guess that means I need to get the L-2B2AT 3.2mm cable at the link provided? Then the RCA connectors you provided are 6mm, which seems like a lot of wiggle room once the 3.2mm wire is inserted. In your video there doesn't seem to be any space with the RCA connector you used. I'm worried the extra space would cause failure down the line.
How would you suggest dealing with the extra 2mm+ of space the smaller diameter creates with the RCA connects provided in your link? (I'
m looking at the aliexpress links as the amazon links provided do not apply to my country.
I'm sure I could figure out a way myself, but I would love the advice of a professional.
PS: great video, everything else was super clear to me. I make my own RCA cables already, just never tried doing it with AUX, but I'm tired of the unshielded portion always causing static when I use poorly designed ones I have bought in the past. It's super distracting.

most frequently not, you can't compete with Chinese production costs. DIY gives you customization capabilities and better quality, if you choose good materials.
