Great video! Thank you so much for uploading this! In 1980, I moved to St.Thomas and lived @The Watergate villas for 3 months. As I can see by this video, many more buildings have been added. Then moved just up the hill behind Bolongo Bay Beach Resort and became a member of the resort. Things have grown but the water, breeze, view of Buck Island are the same. Loved living there as a teen with my parents! It's too bad about the shoreline though. When I lived there they had a couple guys, one named Lesley, and he would take a tractor and rake up all the green seaweed stuff you see on waters edge. Lotta work but it really made the beach seem more " user friendly ". They did the boozehunt back then also.
