Westbury gang violence

The family of slain 30 year old Windell Watson from Westbury - west of Johannesburg - believes the police are in cahoots with gangs operating in the area. This after Watson was fatally stabbed several times inside the holding cells of the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He was awaiting trial for an attempted murder charge. It is unclear how the alleged perpetrator who was also in police custody at the time managed to bring in a dangerous weapon into the court precinct. The deceased is expected to be buried this week.
