I love it. I think it makes your space look finished. I love the door.
Suggestions--since you made the a/c door a three panel door, you could do the same on all your other doors in the hallway. I took my flat hollow core doors and made them into five panel doors using the thin luan plywood sheet cut down into 3" wide strips, then nail tacked them on. Then, of course, painted them white. They turned out great, so I thought yours would look great done that way too. Also, spray paint your door knobs and hinges mat black. You'll be amazed what these fairly small changes will do. The look will go great with your bookshelf. Als, I like that your curtains blend into the wall. It allows your book cases to be the stars. Keep going, it's coming along great!!

@Melinda LeMaster this opening is much smaller or od do that plus cutting the hole made it look awkward cause the design 😅 it's not too noticeable in person I think it just stands out more when I point it out and show on camera . Thanks for watching as always
I love this idea!! You should make the door a barn door to match the other one you did. Also maybe a board and batten wall if it doesn’t look to busy.

It looks great Karrie! What I would do down that hall is carry on the same thing you did on the wall in your dining room. The reason is being your rooms aren't huge the more cohesive you make them the larger they look. At the end of the day it's your home sweetie. 👍🐇🐰🤗🤍
Wow!!! Removing the faux brick and painting it was a great idea. Love the new door on the HVAC closet. I like the idea of the board and batten wall. I can't wait to see what you do with the wall as far as accent wall. I will say as far as the table back in the living room looks a little crowded, but love the decor on it.

It all looks beautiful! ❤ My contribution for the pile of wonderful ideas and suggestions from everyone is to leave the walls just painted that neutral color and paint your doors black with maybe antique looking gold/brass door handles! It’ll bring the dark and moody vibe to that side of the room and down the hallway. 😎 No matter what you decide to do, it’s gonna look amazing!
I just love your channel! 😊 I'm always changing my house too. One time my teenage son came home late and was sneaking in as not to wake us up. That day I had moved a table with pitcher and bowl on it. He didn't see it because it was dark. He ended up running into it. The pitcher and bowl shattered. Woops! 😅😅😅 We still laugh about that even 23 years later.

I think leave the curtains because it’s such a tight area you don’t want too much busy going on but it could change the space too if you do a shade darker too, definitely try it out

Beautiful! I love that rug. I'm with you on the liquid nails not being needed. I think the brad nails are enough. That's what I did with my board and batten and they stay up fine.
What about a peel and stick wallpaper with something that has a little texture down that hallway wall? Amazon has a great variety.

Karrie, there was always projects going on in my house when I was younger. I know you always want it to look good when company comes but if they know you...they understand your always working on something and its okay lol. Neutral is the way I always go because It's goes with anything.

Two years ago I had all door knobs and door hinges to oil rubbed bronze. I also had all faucets changed out to oil rubbed bronze. It made my home look so good, it was just the finishing touch I needed

I love the brick gone. On the living room side I would texture it like you did the fireplace but still keep it agreeable gray. If I was to do any vertical board, shelves etc I would only do the kitchen side. I like them both plain. I like the rug. I love the sentimentalness of the coffee table but it's big for the space now. I miss your chaise section for you. Lol you're so right about something darker over on that side. I know for sure when you are done it's going to look great. Hope you enjoyed your kids Spring break.
I think the coffee table just looks big because of the angle but I promise it's not too crowded. It's got about 2 ft between the couch and table and I think I may skip the accent wall all together and just keep it simple. Less is more in my little house 💓 thank you for watching

It looks so good. And the hallway part of the wall where the closer door is, I would leave it as just the wall, without anything on it, makes everything look so much bigger. Whatever you do, though, it's going to look good.

It looks so much better without the brick wall , it feels more open, brighter and Cozy. And I think doing a barn door would of looked so cute , I can’t wait to see the rest ❤
My only issue with the barn door is the area . This is a high traffic area and my kids will knock it right off track haha

I love accent walls but honestly I’d just let this one be. It kind of just blends and goes away and when you walk in your eyes are drawn to your kitchen area and out the back door to your beautiful patio. 💗💗💗

I wonder if you had heated the dried glue with a blow dryer if it would have softened it enough to scrape off? Looks good! I did board and batten in our little cottage on our hallway and it looks great and actually makes the hallway look taller and longer. And I’m a matchy matchy kind of girl and I would have left the HVAC door alone since it matches the bathroom door. Either way, you did a great job!
