🤗 Thank you for making this video... Gulati family is very open to talk about all the things related to Saskatchewan... It was amazing to hear that they have been there for over a decade... I am actually surprised to see the difference in cost of living between Ontario and Saskatchewan.
    ❤️ Kudos.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Cheers 😊

I would like to add although the salary is $12 or $15, the hours you get for basic jobs here are usually *20 hours* per week.
So yes, you can make $1,800 IF you work 40 hours a week, but you will need TWO jobs for that, or a spouse/roommate.
    Most jobs:
    $12*20=$240
    $240*4 weeks (1 month)
    =$960
    Or
    $15*20=$300
    $300*weeks (1 month)
    =$1200
Most rent in sk is $800, minimum. That does not include food, clothing, transport, hobbies, etc.
To live comfortably you at least need to be making $1,800/month. And with covid happening there are not as many good hourly jobs as there use to be. I know MANY new people who work 2 jobs to make ends meet/to live.
To live comfortably/decent you need to make $24,000/year.
The math I wrote above will make you $12,000/year.
The reality is, unless you go to school here like this couple in the video then it will be hard to get a job with a degree from another country.
Most jobs will be what I wrote above. $12,000-$16,000/year.^^^

Hi Navjot and Simran! Thank you for creating great content and helping all prospective migrants in their journey.
Can you please create a video (if that topic deserves a video) on how to declare / fill-out the the forms for declaring money that you're bringing into Canada? Do we just need to show proof-of-funds or all the money from all different sources? Does it include if you have a property/commodity/retirement-savings that you're planning on bringing in the country later and not with you when you're landing in for the first time. Thanks again.
