I love watching travel vlogs by Americans visiting my country and appreciating it. I have been to America myself many times, I do find Massachusetts to be similar to England and parts like Wales, Nova Scotia Canada is very much like Scotland, we got it all in one big Island. I would recommend joining the National Trust and English Heritage this gives you unlimited entry to all the attractions and free parking. I like the music, it's very relaxing.
Hi Colin! Thanks so much for watching. We are so glad you enjoyed it. We are In Massachusetts right now actually and would agree, they feel a bit similar. I hope we can be back to the UK soon!
Thank you so much! We're glad you're enjoying our videos and that we could inspire you to visit the UK. We have a few more videos in preparation from our UK road trip. We just posted Part 2 today!
Did you know: Many many years ago when Stonehenge wasn’t the tourist attraction it is now , many builders of the time came to the site and (don’t ask me how) stole the stones used them as hardcore for the foundations of buildings, roads & walls. It’s only now that we appreciate antiquity and that’s why Churches, religious buildings, tombs Roman villas and medieval castles still exist from that time period.
Loving your enthusiastic videos. You're giving me a renewed appreciation of my own country. I was born and raised in Bath and now live just 20 minutes from Stonehenge. And Glastonbury is my spiritual home. I visit regularly. You went to the Hundred Monkeys. You should have gone to the Rainbow's End Cafe. The best veggie cafe in the whole of the south west. The food is awesome!
It’s actually nice to see Americans exploring outside their own country. Many Americans don’t own a passport which is so weird for us Europeans. Travel broadens the mind and you learn so much about other cultures..you get a sense of who the indigenous people are/were.
@@rightasrain7949 been to the U.S and never once been to either. Been to NY, Chicago,St Louis, Amarillo , Oklahoma, Kansas, Vegas, California, Flagstaff, Albuquerque and Miami. Also I’ve traveled all over Europe & further. I understand that America may have all the facilities & the scenery & the easy access that a holiday checklist requires but they should look further than their borders & I don’t mean Mexico for spring break etc
Like your tour and information. I’m from Bath. You did well, Glastonbury whilst there a nice walk to Glastonbury Tor would of been nice for your viewers...
with the water in bath you might get a rash (non itchy) when first drinking washing in it i think because of the mineral content don't worry about it it doesn't last long
Next time you go to Bath you should visit the Jane Austin museum! She hated the place and never wrote anything while she lived there - but Bath will never let it go! XD
I love your content, but it would be greater if you guys can improve audio quality, so it'll help English learners like me improve their listening skills. Thanks a lot
2.5 hours sleep then drive in a foreign country, on the opposite side of the road!!! Somewhat reccless, not much care and consideration for other road users!!! Look up Anne Sacoolas.
They got through it, a first night rest would have been preferable, something to consider for next time maybe, I did some red eye flight from UK to Florida and picked a car up, having driven in USA before, it wasn't a problem after a strong coffee however as soon as I got in my motel room I slept like a log.
The answer is probably unique to each traveler. We certainly met people from lots of countries doing a similar trip. For us, we knew we would never in our life get to see all of these places if we only went to one or two a year. We chose to do some in bulk bc we wanted a great big adventure and get a taste for lots of different places. Thanks for watching!

I’m 13 and British and this makes me proud to be from the UK and when I’m older I can’t wait to explore my own country
@Eugene Winston okay! Thank you (:
On the road between Bath and Glastonbury is the cathedral city of Wells. Don't forget Wells, it is beautiful :)
I really enjoy your content. I am a fellow travel vlogger, just started out last year. You have inspired me to explore the UK.

Americans don’t own passports?!?
Many Americans own passports but it's rather expensive to travel to foreign destinations for us.
@@rightasrain7949 only 42% of yanks have passports compared to 75% of Brits .
@@KopCole yeah, and Brits have an easy access to all of Europe. When they come to the US, they go to Florida and Disney...

Thank you for sharing! I’m in the early stages of planning a UK road trip and you’ve provided great ideas!
Oh you’re so welcome. You’ll have an awesome time!
I love the fact you guys visit so many cathedrals and churches. Superb videos! Take care and Merry Christmas!
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you as well!
Excellent video! Being from the UK I do find it fascinating how the country is perceived by those from abroad!
Thank you! We feel the same when seeing a travel video about our home country/state. Helps us appreciate local things much more!

I’ve lived near London , in Buckinghamshire I now live in Somerset and I love it
Just watched a few of your videos today. Loving the content

I've had a soak in the hot springs, no reactions, everybody is different I guess..
England became a unified state in 927ad. Its very old
Great video, reminds me of our family days out when we were kids
How lovely ☺️ Thank you for watching!
Underrated.
Very good, thanks. Not seen you before but a great vlog..... cheers!!!!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thank you, David! Glad you're enjoying our channel! Cheers!
Finally tour you must try
Why was there an American flag sticking out of the wall(pole) in the Bath Abbey, is that significant? Does anyone know ? it just seemed a bit random.
I think it’s a memorial to an American senator who died in Bath. It surprised us too!
Senator William Bingham of Pennsylvania died at Bath in 1804. He is buried in the Abbey.
Glad you enjoyed my home town bath, you should have done Glastonbury tor, lovely American take on our beautiful country ❤️
👍👍
Thanks!
In 973 the First King of all England was crowned in Bath Abbey.

Next time take time to visit Mells and Wells in Somerset
Thanks for the rec!

Hahaha we will add it to the list, that’s too good! 😆
while in glastonbury you could hve visited the chalice well , it's so peaceful and spiritual ! :)
The white water well is something to see as well. It's by the chalice well and when open they fill the inside with candles.
Thanks for the tip! We'll note these in case we travel back there again.
Latest thinking is that Stonehenge was a place of healing; a hospital.
Oh I love that!
❤❤
Nice i like it 😍

Are you both native Texans? If so, you don't sound it.
Personally I find Avebury much more impressive than Stonehenge.
We’ll have to add Avebury to our list next visit. Thanks for the recommendation and for watching!

Shut up, mate!.
Your videos would be a lot better if you stayed out of them and just did voiceovers. We've seen you!! Just let us enjoy the scenery. Please.
😂😂😂 this comment section would be better if you stayed out of it. Please.
Just wonder why so many americans do whistle stop tours of the world? I know not all but why?
