Been testing Despias lately and as soon as Masquerade (the walking Chain Energy) comes out, that card's gonna be painful to deal with. With the right hand, you can actually turbo out two to three of those, making your opponent cost 1200-1800LP per card activation. It's so funny. 😂

Before I even continue watching this all the way through THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THE CARDS AND EXPLAINING! In due time I won’t need this at all, but I know it helps TONS of other people whom support your channel and watch these videos! I can sense some slight irritation from time to time like “why he gotta state the entire damn card” haha 😂 , it helps the newest of players/ returning players to get involved/enjoy the game and the channel. Despia may be explosive with Invoked and Shaddoll engines but I prefer Despia with Dogmatika and Albaz engines cause of the lore.

The prank kids part of this duel is very underwhelming... He didn't remember to activate place to chain block in duel 1, he pretty much won duel 2 by attacking with dodo which was summoned off of rocket ride -> illegal move, and in duel 3 he didn't use the floating effect of toadally awesome and roaster when cali used maximus (if you are forced to extra foolish you can send toad and roaster, each one can recycle the other, and if you're not running roaster at least toad recycles itself) because sending mew and dodo is suicidal for the grind game. This is not "advanced" prank kids stuff... Overall it's very clear that he is not a prank kids player. I've always loved your tournaments but at this point why include the deck if there is no proper pilot
yeah the deck is so good versus maximus, you literally lose nothing and can choose in later rounds to recoup cards to hand off toad and rip roaring
@@mangoe9523 yeah, getting maximus with pranks should at worst do nothing to you and at best give you back a hand trap or a kid

@@thecalieffect Of course I would, we all do :) but some mistakes are made in the heat of the moment, and some show a lack of mastery over a deck. Pranks can be amazing when you take time to master it (just look how pak won the YCS) but it can feel weak when you only know the basics of it. Here it feels like the deck was only included in the summer cup because it is meta relevant. Would be cool to see you against a pranks duelist that plays the deck as well as you play yours!
…rocket ride can summon back NON FUSION pranks from the gy…how was it an illegal move?

You cannot special summon Dramaturge by banishing him from the grave by the effect of shaddoll schism , Dramaturge effect only trigger when fusion material from hand or field or banish

You should try succession in prank kids. When they stop that first interaction you can at least get to Doodle, then fuse if you have more in hand. If they don't stop you there's a play with succession that will let you end on double battle Butler, or toad if you don't have the extra prank kids. Poly is a bad card..

Because quaeritis effect only affect monsters whos not level 8 or higher fusion monsters and butler is more than a level 8 fusion monster.
