Good run, despite not getting the flower tower in the first half. Pro tip; Grab the honey tower token, level an iron tower to 3, turn it to honey. Also, instead of a second guardian, a bear tower comes in clutch when using forge/honey combo.
the best part about this build is it has exponential scaling, while slow to start with, once more levels get released it should easily power you through them.
It did due to deciding strategy and talking it out, like requested in one of the comments from an earlier video. I was seeing if I could maximize a couple towers beyond Obsidian. Thanks bro
There's a possible build where you go two frog towers, a princess or witch tower between them and then witch or princess or opposite sides(whatever wasn't in the middle of them) then they'll transform every turn and buff every tower. It's hard to assemble and not as good as obsidian flower, but it's satisfying to see. You can also make a compact version with only one frog tower and princess and witch on the sides, but then if you find a frog tower in the shop you can't upgrade if it's in knight mode.
You had a beautiful run for the first bit, until you didn't get the flower until late. Crazy how you still got the flower up to lvl3 even though you got it so late in the run. The flower tower also makes money when you have that 1 gold discount token or the 1st tower is free token. Fyi, small optimization; use the forge tower before you upgrade a tower. If you level than forge, you'll only end up with whatever power your forge is. If you do it the other way you bump it up to 5/5 or whatever and then you get the increase from leveling. I'm glad you're reading suggestions. And it's a 2 way street for me at least. I didn't think bees or bears were worth pursuing until I saw one of your videos and I saw the power. I also realized that I was playing hydra wrong as I kept trying to build tall instead of wide first. Also, what you said in this video makes me want to try to build up a flower and have a coffee behind it, just to see how crazy those stats go, lvl 2 coffee is a x3 multiplier. If you haven't done it yet, a mosquito tower behind the flower is amazing. You get all of the offense mosquitos usually lack with 5-6 annoyances. Thanks for the video!
Better to get a couple bees over guardians if want the crazy numbers by the end. The flip side is that it makes your early game weak while you're trying to get everything in place. I forget exactly what I did exactly but I had flower,honey, flower,honey and a couple forges... I actually got a tower over 1000 hp/atk by the end. Died a lot before I was finally able to get ahead of the waves though.
Yea I know I'll modify this a ton of times but guardians are a good base for the obsidian early if you aren't rolling what you need to get through the waves, especially taking money for the Royal buff and hoping to get the right towers. It was insurance but I def plan to play around with it later
Mentioned in a vid. Just threw you my Hydra run too. Sadly I seem to have not saved my run with a level 4 Forge tower feeding a slime free 20/20 towers ... lol.
haha I knew this would trigger people when I did it haha we were already within win territory and no third level to go to so I was more so seeing what upgrades did and boosted
Hey thats my suggestion ^^ well atleast i was one of them to suggest it. Some things to improve!? Instead of 2 Guardians just 1 instead add a bear tower wich lvls with the Flower through the honey. And i reroll very much so that i have my lineup at the first lvl up from the royal tower or 1 round after. I stop at lvl4 Bee or else u have it way to often that something u need getschanged into bee/honey.
Yea I was aiming for Obsidian so I didn't want it to accidently disappear if I rolled it lol that would be my luck. I would've loved Bear if I saw it early enough but Guardians were constant buffs to the obsidian to push it past the waves, in case flower never showed.
@@HaliosTV Oh yes for sure no problem its a good save way to progress the stages. For me well i just want to try to get the towers as high as i can so a lot of minmaxing and restarts XD
Guardians are common enough to anchor the Obsidian to fight off most waves. They are necessary, especially with the Flower tower being an uncommon spawn. If I used that gold to continue to roll and never got a Flower, then it would've never worked...geez

i personally go 4 guardian towers, next to flower i use butler. (and ideally princess next to butler)
