Britain is a nation of dog lovers, but what happens when domestic bliss turns to chaos? Luckily, there's someone you can call. Master dog trainer, Graeme Hall is on a mission to restore harmony across the country. He has built his reputation on finding quick but long-lasting fixes to almost any unwanted dog behaviour, helping to train over 5000 canines (and 1 fox!) and their owners. His mantra is clear: "Any Dog, Any Age, Any Problem."

Animals aren’t that different from people. We all have anxieties and neuroses and we learn to cope with them in our own ways. Sometimes those are maladaptive and we just need to learn the right way to understand and respond to them

Chihuahuas need discipline. They do behave but need rules straight away. I had a lovely chihuahua. They’re intelligent. Just need telling and training
@@shirleyac12 Same for me! I found giving them something to do like hide and seek and games of tug are REALLY helpful in getting that pent up roid raging ratter out.
@@rustyhowe3907 you’re right ! Direct their energy into positive things. You can’t get a dog and expect it to just sit there all day. They need play like you said .
@@shirleyac12 It stuns me that owners who 'love' their dogs so much neglect their most basic needs.
You're absolutely spot on about redirecting into positive things because through that the dog learns what it can go nuts on and what needs a gentler touch, this is what these dogs were bred for after all; ratting AND companionship and they are wonderful at both when nurtured correctly.

What lovely woman and true dog lover Alexandria is, that laugh, she hasn’t changed over the years and so talented I still remember her from that Beyoncé moment on X-Factor. Glad Graham was able to help, he makes such sense, awe Prince really is a wee sweetheart deep down he just needed to know there is no I in team, smart wee cookie 😂

Why amazing? They are totally misunderstood and portrayed as savage dogs. They are some of the best dogs you can have.

They definitely get deep into your soul. Today would have been my precious Bode’s 17th birthday so it’s been a little emotional. There’s not a day that goes by without me thinking of him and missing him dreadfully (he passed two years ago this July). I have two rescues now which are both Staffie X’s and I love them dearly but Bode was that very special one and we had the closest bond.
It is heartbreaking that people mistreat them and they get such a bad reputation because like any dog they only want to be loved. Good job there’s people like us out there for them. 😬😘

Except they are not human and do not understand humans language. You can say 'bananas' to a dog to get them to do something, if you want. Makes no difference. It's the tone and attitude and clarity that matters, not the word.
Five dogs is basically five permanent two year olds. Dunno if that's the best decision
You can tell how happy all the dogs are at the change also. They are all instantly like, "OH my! this is what we've wanted forever!!!"
I also love that he trains dogs with love an affliction instead of treats!!! I know SO many people that go the treat route with both dogs and cats and every single one of them has attitude issues. ..and I mean every single one of them.
Have you watched any of The Farm for dogs videos? Luke Evans, in Australia. Freddo his rottweiler fronts the site. Wonderful channel. Family lives with 20 dogs all rescues except the pug, and all perfectly behaved.

This fella needs to come in and give some advice in narc family systems. When he said Prince never gets attention when he’s quiet, only when he’s yelling and misbehaving, it reminded me of my sibling. 😮
it’s the same set of anxieties with the same sort of reactions. Maladaptive coping mechanisms transcend cultural and sometimes even species boundaries lol

That staffie and doodle are the ones I feel sorry for, there's something satisfying about some celebrity getting a reality check.
It's exhausting because she has to be consistent with it, even if she wants to give him a little cuddle.

Gosh I see so many celebs do that, even Adele recently. I wonder if it is for work, acting projecting the voice e.t.c She has been working in theatre for a while and you have to speak clearly, pronounce words properly.

Prince is a typical chihuahua but has been allowed to get away with too much. I love these feisty little devils but anyone who thinks small dog, easy, needs to think again!! They are loyal little guardians to their special humans.

I have acquired a chihuahua and he won't let anyone in the house he bit the postman and it just looked like a scratch on leg however,today I have a letter from royal mail saying they may not be able to deliver to my house unless I put safety precautions in place to protect the posty
He will bite anyone who enters the gate or the house it's an absolute nightmare

Tanya, I know what you think, but they are just children until they are trained, there are no bad dogs only bad owners, my son bit me once a human son, he was 18 months old, should I have let him go?? 🙏🙏❤❤
@@jacquibradley1598 If I recall correctly we don't train 18 month old children to catch rats, I could be wrong though.
Chihuahuas were bred for such a job along with a few other jobs and that I *do* know but being someone's child wasn't one of them.

I’d love to have a dog behaviourist come visit us. Mmy Bobby is a walk in the park compared to Prince. My Bobby is a tyrant with his cousin Mabel: constantly rebuking her and cutting her off at the pass, as it were. She’s good natured about it but he hampers her and it’s bloody annoying and unseemly.

I love people with the ability to acknowledge a problem, ask for help and then accept their part in the problem in order to solve the issue. Alexandra Burke has my respect for that and usually in real life that's what people tend to find ingratiating.
