Yes sir, I included them because in my opinion, they are important for the genre itself, but I didn't say they are Tuareg. In fact I say Ali Farka Toure was bridging Malian traditional sounds with American Blues, and that Songhoy Blues is one of the newest Desert Blues bands to go international. 🙂
This is amazing!!!! I love this new discovery of music 🤩
Thanks for the support!! I am glad you like this :)
Amazing artists. Thank you for turning me on to this genre.
Much appreciated :)
Mdou Moctar is also to be included. Cheers
Thanks for your comment, I had originally included Mdou Moctar but unfortunately, I had to cut his part due to copyright restrictions.
You can add Etran de l’Aïr to your list, they are so great musicians. Cheers
I think I may have to do another episode on the genre. Got some other suggestions as well. Stay tuned! Did you see my video about Abdullah Miniawy?
love this music!
Glad you like it!
Just for the record, Ali Farka Touré and Songhoy Blues are not Tuaregs.
