Her songs are fresh, organic and relatable, though it doesnt reflect on the sales, except for her top three best sellers. I really like Carly! Btw could you please do Kesha, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore?
Sales dont quantify quality. Some of her best songs may not be the best selling, like shadow, but they are bangers all the same. Definitely not in the same sales league as big names like Taylor Swift, but her songs are insanely good! So let's not devalue her success. Long live the queen!

Of course Call Me Maybe sold a lot more than the other songs. But how are songs with 8.5 and 13 MILLION sales no hits?
@@noo4449 nobody even remembers I Really Like You and Good Times was carried by Owl City lol, Call Me Maybe was her only hit and then everybody proceeded to forget about her
@@brianleclerccampbell it's not a matter of remembering. 8.5M and 13M are still 8.5M and 13M, and, therefore, HITS from Carly. So she's not a one hit wonder, specially with 7 songs over 1M copies. The thing is that Call Me Maybe is insanely huge with 36.5M, but if you forgot it ever existed, 8.5M and 13M would make the other 2 pretty solid hits too.
@@_CompactDisc remembering is legacy and that is how you measure success, who leaves the better footprint basically.
Play Call Me Maybe in a club and everybody will know it's from her, play the other two and everybody will be like "hm what's that? Idk"
Playing on numbers is easy, mind you, those two songs (and even Call Me Maybe) were released during the digital era, making it really easy to score big numbers... as a comparison, even Applause which was considered a flop, also sold past the 10M milestone
Also the numbers seem super inflated for those two when you look at their certifications, chart placements and streaming numbers ngl
She has 3 hits and a whole solid discography she can make a living off
