The Horned King/Aurora bit made me think of a couple where the villain is obsessed with World Domination and the love interest is supportive but more invested in having a nice and peaceful picnic with their love before they ride off to subjugate whatever kingdom is next on their list.
That sound like a wonderfil idea LOL
As for me I thought about a tragic romance like Beauty and The Beast but with some dark aspects, like he using her as a hostage and for some creepy ritual in order to archieve his worldomination goals but instead end up falling in love with her.
Kind of like Jack Skellington and Sally.
Why I liked Horned King and Aurora more than the others?
They're the complete opposite from the other. It's like Life & Death or something.
Just fell in love with that one, it gives me some nice ideas wow.
Hades and Persephone
Wow. Now I cannot think in anything else than The Horned King and princess Aurora.
Imagine. She fell in love with him becaus, even though he was cold in the outside, she discovered he was sweet in the inside.
And was Ruber a God? He was shinning like Zeus.

Man, I'd take a whole version of this with just the Horned King and Aurora.
Or even a Beauty and the Beast adaptation with characters that resemble them.
The entire aesthetic is really cool, I think.

cyrene Spencer Hes the antagonist from Disney’s the black cauldron, it’s not a very good movie imo bc it was in development hell for so long, but I still recommend experiencing it at least once.
The horned king and aurora: a fixer upper
The horned king clearly cares for Aurora but through this relationship I can see he is trading to curb and control his violent evil side when with her.
Frollo and Esmarelda: a wilting rose 🥀
Not love story but a nice one, Frollo finds a dying Gypsy outside the church and proceeds to bring her in and comfort her in her last moments. When Esmarelda dies, he see a vision that she’s in hell and prays to God to save this pour soul.
Ruber(ares) x odette: a warrior trying to be better
Ruber is either in a secret relationship with a mortal and is actually trying to settle down with her but Zeus, his father hates this proceeds to fight Ruber but a stray shot hits Odette causing her death and slowly starts splitting up the pantheon.
Hades and Ariel: reverse Stockholm
Hades has always met damned souls but when he finds a stranded mermaid, he sees a pure soul, something very rare in his line of work. He wants her soul but through constant meetings he slowly gets to love her and knows that Zeus shall not let this happen but after countless years they meet up in secret through a magic mirror.
Ramses x poison ivy: a redemption couple
After Ramses lost his brother and his people, the gods punished him with a form that mimics his violent personality and after many century stuck in this form, he slowly sees his kingdom grow old and overgrown, so he changes his name so no one shall know who he was. Some time in the 1900s he finds a little girl who has power over plants, he schemes a plan for more power with this girl at the center of that plan. But through constant meetings and talks, she slowly reveals a poor soul Inside this vicious tiger.
Beast x thumbelina

My favorite John sliver sinbad x Mulan: a mystery lover
In the far future, a descendent of Mulan starts a relationship with a sailor called Sinbad but due to his line of work they couldn’t get married. After many years go by, a pirate raid attacks the palace where mulan lives but one man seems oddly familiar, was it the way he treated every moment with a smile and a laugh or was his tender side that made her feel comfortable on those lonely nights. Is the man she loved or is man someone else entirely.
The part where you didn't write beast x thumbelina made me chuckled

At the Geek myth one I think the guy was Ares ! The God of War and then Zeus came in with Athena (?) !! That one is good !!!

Aurora and the Horned King definitely work. And the dialog in the beginning practically sell it. Really touched my heart.

Maybe it’s because I love Shere Khan and Ramses but I love the idea of Ramses getting cursed and forced to live as a Tiger, that part is absolutely fascinating! And it really played the literal Beauty and Beast part very well and the editing on Shere Khan was spectacular, he was very regal in this, well done to the editor 👌
