I really appreciate the fact that MJs videos often don't get posted until after a few weeks, when the systems gets a chance settle in. This build looks incredible, could go almost anywhere in the house, and dude makes it look so easy and attainable for anyone. Respect

When you showed the bucket with the used sand and gravel, my first reaction was, yuk, BUT, once I saw it added to the tank and spread out, I immediately remembered why you're one of my aquascape heroes, it's absolutely perfect and stunning! You have incredible vision and talent, I love watching you create aquatic habitats! Thank you brother!

Oooh I love this!!! Everytime I've tried a pond style aquascape the plants just dry out especially the pogostemon 😭 I'm so jealous of this little scape it's my absolute favourite!
This is so pretty! I love the hardscape that you created and I can’t wait to see the plants in bloom! I probably would have tried to sneak a couple tiny fish in there😂
I have a flowering hygrophila araguaia, it looks like an phlenopsis orchid bloom without the petals. it's so cool!
Utricularia's flower are also beautiful!

I’m curious to see if the lobelia cardinalis will flower as well. I have been tempted to plant some emersed in a new setup in hopes it will flower
what sort of nutrition will the plants in the water get from the sand? will you supplement anything? also how will the plants adapt to above water growth?
The aquasoil contains nutrients and this should be enough for the first few months. After that I might start adding some liquid ferts. The plants are adapting very well! I sprayed them quite often in the first week, but I completely stopped spraying them now.

Another excellent video! I am a hydroponics gardener and have started aquascaping and am really enjoying it! This looks very fun. I do have a question. I just installed my first CO2 generator on a 10-gallon tank and was wondering if it makes sense to put the diffuser in the oase hang on filter instead of in the tank? or will this mess with the PH or hurt the bio in the filter?
