    Stumbled across this this morning because I’ve been wanting to improve and enhance and learn Mark making better than what I’m utilizing it now. I love this demo. Thank you.

    So glad this popped up. Recently I've been taking photos of old fallen trees that l love, and their root systems. Its amazing how they remain alive for so long, with so few roots underground. I feel some paintings and drawings in the making. Thanks for your mark making inspiration x😊

    Reminds me of the science expo I just watched about how all trees and plants are connected underground through their root systems - communicate with each other. Your painting looks like that underground Life. LOVE IT! Respect.

      That's fascinating Deborah! I was recently part of a group exhibition, the title of the exhibition was Rhizome which means connection through a root system. Nature is at the core of my creative soul - everything begins there.

    What is the stof you put on the paper in the beginning.

    • @louisebougourdartist6763
      @louisebougourdartist6763  2 года назад

      Hi Bonna, it is simply water to help materials move on the surface, it looks a little blue but I expect that is just the lighting. :)

      I should imagine it's just water, l work in a similar way. Sometimes use dirty water.
