Just a reference: Chaos mode enemies do a damage output of 500% more damage to you which makes taking any damage lethal. Get hit at Half health even by earlier bosses and they kill instantly. Enemy recovery is instantaneous on Chaos mode. Easy mode Kratos damage output is 200% while Chaos mode is severely reduced to 75%
The very hard difficulty has the same changes to all games too. Also i always thought difficulties ONLY increase damage and the health of enemies, i never knew that they are much more aggressive, and recover faster i only noticed it when i was in Clotho's hallway in GOW 2 and i noticed the enemies were relentless they attacked me NONSTOP i had no chance to breathe and do any combos whatsoever
The only game to truly make me cry was this difficulty. The Cerebus boss fight at the end made me RQ and put the game down for 2 weeks. Truly my favorite game.

This is for chaos mode(cerberus fight) When cerberus appears u have to hit him with a devastating attack. You can use 🔺️ 🔺️🔺️ or u can attack rapidly by pressing L1+X or u can use nemesis whip and hold 🟥 Choose claws of hades as they are fast at dodging. Use 🟥🟥🔺️. Use bow of apollo regularly and kick those small puppies as many as possible . After cutting first head of cerberus . Freeze the first satayr using magic (claws of hades) and then repeat the same strategy as u did earlier. After cutting the second head . Two satayrs will come . Use all ur magic from blades of exile( 3 times) and then use rage of sparta . After this cerberus will be weakened and u can kill him. Satayrs are strong,fast and annoying. Use magic from nemesis whip( if possible as there is some blue power left). Use boots of hermes to launch them in air and attack them. After killing one satayr u can kill the other one by grabbing them and pressing 🔴 rapidly
Yeah the problem there is not Cerberus itself it is the satyrs. Without satyrs the fight would be pretty easy. The problem is in most cases the medusa magic aims for cerberus instead of the satyrs. Then you're fucked.
Yes I had also completed 3 and a half days morning 2 hours night 2 hours and most horrible thing is Scorpion and fire beast dog it is nightmare 💀but completed it anyway🙂
I played god of war 1 and 2 hard mode and beat them, but once i just played god of war 2 in very hard i wanted to see if i can beat it... i never passed rhoades second encounter, there is always a huge difference between hard and very hard
I've beaten God of War 1 and 2 on Very Hard no glitches. I maybe can do this too no glitches but who knows? I Glitches the whole game. Had infinite magic until i got the Nemesis Whip. Now I'm on the Certeus or whatever it's called fight. Tried to use the Dog kick strat and it works nicely, maybe I'll try to use the blades and just do that long combo he did. And maybe use the claws of Hades. Never used them for much because they're pretty meh.
took me a month dieing on everything playing 5 hours a day to beat chaos mode but i finally did it,its like one of my greatest achievments in video games :D,i strugle the most with the scorpion boss and zeus

It seems like the battle inside Gaia’s heart never ends cause I can never get past it. I’ve tried for at least 30min and nothing is happening. It’s really starting to piss me off .
And hit Gaia’s heart to gain health. And I recommend having everything on Max level for this fight (health, magic, ammo I think, the weapons, specially the Blades of Exile because you can do that spiral attack)
Yeah it’s really hard, but it’s doable. It took me like 2hs of constant trying to perfect my parry timing, and check what atacks should I do at witch time because you can’t cancel some combos
You can do it but it becomes frustrating. I played at normal (tbf this was the first time I have ever played a GOW game) but you can do it. It took me 15-30 minutes to complete. I completed the game twice with 250 deaths or something like that.
If you do a stream doing this game on Chaos mode with getting any of the gorgon eyes but you can still get other upgrades. I'll be legit impressed. This feat took me 2 months to accomplish
Jez i tried to complete this also on hardest difficulty. Couldnt pass the last phase of zeus and gave up at the end. But twas stuck allot of places often. Gave up like after tried 2-3 houers som fights and came back a day after or two. But couldnt sadly pass the zeus fight inside gaia.

Io ahimè mi ero accorto di avere gli artigli all'1...quindi niente gorgone ma ho comunque trovato il barbatrucco😅 ossia ti puoi caricare la rabbia di sparta anche 3 volte tranquillamente...basta prendersi solo il cerbero e continuare a fargli andare via il cerchio per prenderlo...vai avanti ad attaccarlo di arco e cani fino al riempimento della rabbia e questo lo puoi fare all'infinito😎 con la prima rabbia, fotti il primo satiro e ti rimane il cerbero con 2 teste con il quale ti carichi di nuovo la rabbia, stacchi la seconda testa e usi di nuovo la rabbia e un po di magia per fottere i due satiri, poi stacchi l'ultima testa. Più lungo ma efficace😎
Lo terrò a mente per quando ci arriverò (se ci arriverò 🤣) ho iniziato la modalità caos oggi e sono bloccato da un ora alla terza prova dei tre giudici, praticamente a inizio gioco.
