"Sectarian" from Soen's "Lykaia" album (2017).
I got like 4 requests for this song, so I just had to do it. Just like with Savia, transcribing and finding the bass notes wasn't easy. Especially the part at 3:41 till 4:01 was extremely difficult to hear. Anyway, the slapping verse might be a little bit controversial since you can see me slapping pretty much every string on the bass, but that's just because I never slap so I'm not accurate at all. However, watch some live videos and you'll see the bassist of Soen slapping all these notes as well. The chorus of this song is really easy, and it doesn't really change throughout the song. The whole song is nice and all, but you have to admit that you're just listening to Opeth at 4:07. What a riff!
I'm not sure why, but it feels like the video is out of sync although it isn't. Very weird.... anyway, Sectarian!
