Basket Strainer Explained

This video gives a short introduction to the basket type strainer and how it works. There is also a brief overview concerning how you might open the strainer without flooding the area you are working in (obviously I have never done that...).

Should it be installed vacuum side (before inlet ) or positive pressure side(out put) of motor ?

It's installed before the pump.
