100% agree. He has the voice, hes a good looking dude(no diddy), he speaks well, and he takes time to form thoughts. Really enjoy tuning into anything he is apart of.
Trent Baalke, former 49ers GM and soon former Jags GM. Every media head and local Jax sports peeps knew the O line was horrendous, I feel GM totally goes against the obvious needs just so it shows he don't pay attention to one but himself. Like, in the small event that the weakling turns into a strong unit, he'll look like a genius. This guy does NOT put the team first, it's about him and his pride, or arrogance.
"sitting" and learning doesn't matter when you're physically so small and weak that you can't even throw a quick out with proper velocity it's not about the team around him, it's not about him needing to learn the game more, it's simply about him just literally not being built for it..... Bryce isn't an NFL QB no matter where he goes or how long he sits
7:00 respect Chris for this whole point. Narratives take weeks to develop and materialize, or even longer like over the course of the full season. Each week/game matters of course, but the pendulum swing of opinions can be so exhausting.
Nothing wrong though with saying the Bills look like the best team currently and Allen is currently the best QB with the way he’s been playing since last season. Better than Nick Wright who still thinks the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL even though they are the most average looking 3-0 team ever who can easily be 0-3 or 1-2.
Trevor had roughly a 27 game stretch that was really pretty good. The games before and after that middle window in his career have been about as low as a career can be. If he doesn’t shape up, he’s going to be 1 of the most expensive backups in the league because he really doesn’t deserve that paycheck, and this is coming from a Jags fan.
Sam Darnold was a top pick. Baker Mayfield was a top pick. Geno Smith was a top pick. They all bombed out from the teams that drafted them. Let’s talk about how rookie QBs used to be expected to carry a clipboard and learn for a year or more before getting on the field. Pro-ready rookie QBs are unicorns, and expecting them to all be that puts too much pressure on them just because a top pick was used. Wouldn’t the teams that drafted those QBs like to have them back now? Though I guess the QB room in NY would be pretty crowded about now.
The guy in Houston got most of his numbers bec his team won 4 games and were down in almost every game and went against soft defenses in the 2nd half. I've said since day 1 the whole Watson trade and Baker situation would be a death nail in the coffin that is the Browns window to do something.
but didnt he fire a bunch of coaches en masse at the end of last season? and the fired coaches said the problem is still there, we weren't the problem.. ? D.P. is gonna be out soon.
Make Aidan O’Connell our quarterback. I don’t care what Davante Adams wants he’ll be gone next year💯 let the young quarterback do his thing💯 he’s more of our future than Minshew is!!!
Lawrence has lost years of learning that is showing up as regression, but he only looked good because his talent, and our sympathy, was covering up the lack of appropriate development.
That's what the Jack Faye Trevor Lawrence for also in a whole bunch of other quarterbacks that make more than Watson that aren't doing very good at all
Because a lot of people listen on radio and tune in and out between work, etc. so when they tune in mid-conversation they have no clue who Rich is talking to.
Don't work like that - that was a clear PI on KC D in end zone- the non calls are just as corrupt as faux penalties - games aren't rigged , BUT they are manipulated@@Idlewyld
That’s strange because I love his show. No nonsense just real talk. I guess for some that is boring. I guess that’s what Stevien A is for, endless nonsense.
Was waiting for the whole discussion to drop. Most underrated weekly segments of the NFL season.
Its always a staple to listen to
Rich’s interview with Chris Long every week is one of the best NFL segments I can find. These two consistently knock it put of the park.
Chris Long is a fire analyst. The cadence is perfect
He is his Daddy's son 😂
Is “Fire Analyst” the insurance guy that comes in with a clipboard after a house burns down?
100% agree. He has the voice, hes a good looking dude(no diddy), he speaks well, and he takes time to form thoughts. Really enjoy tuning into anything he is apart of.
Font boo his brother Kyle, he cries like a baby when you do
Chris Long is one of the smartest commentators. It is why he is very well-known.
Chris Long is made for this. Great guest. Get him on more often. Hope someone on Rich’s show sees this although I’m certain they know this.
I'm a simple man. I see a Chris long interview and I click.
Chris high as a kite in this clip and I love it lol
He's always talking about taking edibles on his pod
He is but he’s not one of those guys that are high and stumbling over their words. Which is why he’s one of my favorites while also high
Just subbed to Chris Long Podcast. Loved the conversation.
Best sports media guy rising fast. Love Chris!
Two of the very best.
Don't discount the baby face.. love it Rich 😂
Insane Miami and Jacksonville paid their QBs when they did for that much.
Whoever said "We need to pay Trevor Lawrence" should be fired.
That was crazy.

McDermott has been snubbed for Coach of the Year for far too long. Get him his award!
They were not very good last year and they fired their OC midseason 😅
Lotta season left
Last I checked they lost the last two years in a row at home in the playoffs. No hate but that’s inexcusable. He needs to win a SB.
The guy is an off season removed from being on the hot seat. Let's relax brother.
Chris is sooo intelligent.....
Great Belichick impersonation
Bryce Young sitting behind Andy Dalton for a year could be the best thing to happen for Bryce Young.

junk on the audio track every time Rich speaks, please troubleshoot your setup so that you have clean audio

I just realized we should have nicknamed Mike McDaniel’s offense in MIA “The greatest show on Surf”..: except they suck right now, so no nick names. 😢
more chris
Go Bills!
Dalton is the right guy for the next 2 years! Bryce headed to CFL!
Bryce wouldn't even make it in the CFL lol a field that wide and long with an arm that soft? yeah right lol Bryce wouldn't be able to put it anywhere

… waiting for Mac Jones’ comeback. Is it too soon? How about Zac?

He definitely needs a promotion.
but didnt he fire a bunch of coaches en masse at the end of last season? and the fired coaches said the problem is still there, we weren't the problem.. ? D.P. is gonna be out soon.
to be fair, it's not Andy dalton. losing this way is the most raider thing ever
Keep thinking that when Andy Dalton spanks the Bengals next Sunday
Jacksonville need to bring Urban Meyer back
Why was Chris Long never a Raider?
Make Aidan O’Connell our quarterback. I don’t care what Davante Adams wants he’ll be gone next year💯 let the young quarterback do his thing💯 he’s more of our future than Minshew is!!!
Trade Adams for picks, get a QB in the draft.
@@Judge_Meridian I totally agree we need to do it💯
Your starting qb isn't on the roster......he's backing up Love in Green Bay.
Lawrence has lost years of learning that is showing up as regression, but he only looked good because his talent, and our sympathy, was covering up the lack of appropriate development.
The Chiefs won’t be the first team to three peat, people forget the bills just won their third consecutive September championship! Congrats!
Chris miss you!
I don’t know if I just never noticed it before or it just started recently but I don’t want to hear the phrase/term “complementary football” again.
You never noticed, it's a thing and a term used often and by everybody.
That's what the Jack Faye Trevor Lawrence for also in a whole bunch of other quarterbacks that make more than Watson that aren't doing very good at all
Tekashi69ers might win 5 games this year...
That's the problem Elway lost superbowls but he won with a team I think qbs made to much
QB market needs to crash in the worst kind of way. these dudes are making way too much money.
Need the Browns to realise they stink and sell shop. Howie give them 2 1’s for Garrett immediately
Bryce failed himself and conned the Panthers into taking him 1
Start Mac Jones
Trevor isn’t the guy. He’s just an average qb. He won’t ever be a top 5 qb in the league
Go ahead and apologize to the Panthers and their fans!
Love it. The Bungles fooled their success starved fanbase for one season then went right back to being 💩
I like Rich. I don't understand why he makes a point to awkwardly repeat the guest first name...
Because a lot of people listen on radio and tune in and out between work, etc. so when they tune in mid-conversation they have no clue who Rich is talking to.
Chris just Be saying a Bunch of word, he really Don't say Anything really
No one can be qb 1 except mahomes and the refs will make sure it stays that way
So you even watch football? Chiefs were called for 6 penalties Sunday, and only 2 of them were really penalties.
Don't work like that - that was a clear PI on KC D in end zone- the non calls are just as corrupt as faux penalties - games aren't rigged , BUT they are manipulated@@Idlewyld
No offense to chris long because i agree with alot of what he says, but dude is boring AF.
That’s strange because I love his show. No nonsense just real talk. I guess for some that is boring. I guess that’s what Stevien A is for, endless nonsense.
