What's up everybody! C-Man back with another reaction just for you! I've many times over the year deemed 2024 the year of Ken for myself. So naturally when I heard Ken was performing at the Oscars, my Ken was showing up and for sure reacting. Possibly one of the best Oscar performances of all time, Ryan Gosling knocked it out the park and found a way to perfectly translate the number to the Oscars stage! So pull up a chair, take a seat as we take a look a the I'm Just Ken Oscars performance!

Oh he sure did! A new bar may have been set that night for Oscars performances!
He did all the planning and the sets are in homage to Marilyn Monroe doing "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend" from "Gentlemen Prefer Blonds". Scott Evans and Ncuti are there, too. In fact Ncuti flew in from London last Thursday and had 2 6-hr days of practice.
That’s freaking amazing info! I had heard that he was very hands on with the planning, but love that Ncuti was able to swing in to rehearse quick and be there. Def was nice to see those 4 guys all back.
Ryan is perfection in every single way. And this performance was legendary.
Could not agree more! Personally can’t wait for May and The Fall Guy! I’ve actually heard some people say he’s better there than as Ken, which is wild but also very exciting!
Billie's song made me weep, if she didn't have such a banger, that Oscar would have been Ryan's
Oh if you could have heard me in the theater during that one. Far and away the best song of the year and the obvious choice for the Oscars, so I’m glad it won and that we got that Ken performance for Ryan! That’s a win in and of itself.
Seeing Steven Spielberg’s incredulous reaction, it may not be long before we see Gosling in a Spielberg movie.
I would take him in a Spielberg movie in a second. And not sure if you saw but Marty seemed to enjoy it quite a bit too and I would also take Ryan in one of his movies.

Awww thanks @RainBow-gn7sl! It’s one of those performances that connected with me on a deep level and I’ve just fully leaned into my best Ken life this year, so you know I had to rep the guy big time at the Oscars. But knowing ya’ll enjoyed it as much as I did doing it makes me very happy!

Thanks @raphaelveraforero3729! I knew it needed to be added to the collection as soon as I saw Barbie, and it has not disappointed anytime I’ve broken it out!
Now we just need Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, and Anne Hathaway to all appear in a Barbie sequel,
especially Emma Stone as either any type of Barbie or Barbie’s best friend Midge, who falls in love with Ryan Gosling’s Ken
and Cillian Murphy as a human version of Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s teacher, and love interest of human version of Margot Robbie’s Barbie (who now goes by Barbara Handler; since she was named after the inventor of Barbie Ruth Handler’s daughter).
I also hope the rest of the original cast comes back like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Michael Cera, Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Alexandra Shipp, Dua Lipa, John Cena, Helen Mirren (Narrator), and Will Ferrell.
Let’s hope that Greta Gerwig and Margot both bring back composer and songwriter Mark Ronson to write more songs, and maybe add Jack Antonoff, who’s known for in a rock band called Fun, and write & produce some songs with Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift.
What if a Barbie sequel could be a musicial? Not to mention we also need a Barbie Musicial Broadway soon too. That would be so much Kenergy right now! And Kenough! 💖
@traydaniel0403 you def have some interesting ideas & it would be wild to see several folks from Oppenheimer then show up in a Barbie movie. I def trust Gerwig & Robbie to deliver the goods once again though no matter where they land. And I very much would be here for Barbie on Broadway!
