I am a pastor at a church, and when Kanye first claimed to be saved our staff actually got into a heated debate whether if it was a genuine born-again transformation. Some of us were laughing about it, others were like _”don’t laugh at a genuine transformation”_
Our senior pastor was totally laughing about it, and one lady on our staff yelled at the senior pastor and said _”We’re all sinners in our past, Kanye is definitely saved!!”_ Our senior pastor was like _”But he’s still living in sin and pushing sin for a living, and he’s also getting all his teachings about Jesus from Joel Osteen”_

I have a degree in psychology. I have worked with clients that were suffering with Bi-polar. Symptoms include racing thoughts, boundless, energy, staying up for days at a time, creativity, indulging risk-taking behaviors. (gambling, promiscuous sex, taking drugs, stealing, hallucinations, delusions) Now Kanye has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar. If he is not on the correct medication or refuses to take medication this could be why his behavior has been so erratic. Less condemnation and more grace. We were once hostile enemies of God. (Colossians 1:21) 🙏

I found a bunch of discarded magazines in a ditch when I was just 6. When I was 5 we found Japanese porn cartoons in a book. Those images stayed with me and led me down a path of sexual promiscuity and a lifelong addiction. It starts in the heart, all of this, lust, evil thoughts and it'll leave you broken. Im 39 now and my whole life I struggled with it. Not too long ago I watched it and gave in. But it makes me sick when I do, i literally hate it now. But I'm going to have to fight this my whole life even though Jesus has given me freedom. I'll tell you especially for us men, it's so destructive to our minds and how we think. I wish I could just say Jesus took it all away but He took my guilt and shame for my sins so I will stand on the Rock and fight this until I die.

May the Lord strengthen you and rid you of that demon. I struggled with this also. I am 42 years old now, a few years ago I asked God to take that desire away from me. Every time I felt the need to watch that type of stuff or got those type of urges I would immediately stop and pray to God, calling on his mighty name and blood and it all stopped. I also make a conscious effort to avoid certain movies, scenes, sites, etc. That have nudity, sexy scenes or making out scenes. Stay strong and pray for the Lord's deliverance.
You do not have to fight this for your whole life. God will take the desire away. He has done it for others and he will do it for you too. You have to stop believing that you will have to fight it for the rest of your life and start believing that all things are possible with God. All things are possible with God. He loves you so much that he wants to completely take this addiction away from you. If he’s done it for others then he will do it for you too because God does not have favourites. Start reading the word and put your time and focus on that and not on your addiction. Read it, listen to it, memorize verses that are helpful for you, pray about it. Fasting might also help you. Most of all you must get rid of your mindset that you will always have to fight it. This is only a mind set or your belief system. It’s not grounded on what God can do for you.

Only God knows that. But I tend to think he was a baby Christian who unfortunately when he encountered a few bumps reverted to his old life. He sought the solace and comfort of pleasure instead of persevering in trust. I’ve done that too in my life. I pray that he repents and returns to God. The grace of God is amazing. We just need to seek it every day.

I managed to dodge corn most of my life.. Except teen years.. Now at 52 I'm single and not faping.. I'm a dedicated Christian renewed by the Holy spirit every day, reading my Bible talking in tongues... I don't do anything sexual, I still feel urges and temptation but I rezist....my eyes are fixed on the sky waiting the imminent rapture and thinking about the Kingdom of God.

I spoke at a church two years ago and I told everyone to be patient with Kanye and reserve judgement when he was doing his Sunday service. But here we are and the bad fruit can't be ignored.

I wouldn’t agree with that. Consumption and Addiction are two different things. A person can consume alcohol but not be addicted. Consume Marijuana but not be addicted. The definition of addicted is: physically and mentally dependent on a particular thing and unable to stop engaging in it without incurring adverse effects. This means that anything in a small amount then stopped for a time does not constitute addiction. A person may struggle with corn and still not be addicted. A newcomer to Christ could feel extremely guilty after succumbing to the temptation of corn however that doesn’t make them addicted to it. That’s a person who feels the conviction of The Lord which is required for repentance.

They aren't mutually exclusive. The only way to become addicted is to consume. There is no addiction without consumption, after that it's up to the honor of the consumers to be honest about their addiction.

This is why you don't jump on celebrities for their testimonies or put them into any places of impact when they are either young or unstable believers.
We should have all seen this sad situation coming. When he "confessed" to being a Christian and was doing the Sunday Service, there was no Word being thought. As Christians, Praise and Worship is powerful, but we need The Word. We wrestle against principalities and powers, The Word is our sword, and The Holy Spirit is the armour we need to fight against the evil we battle with every day. This was where he went wrong with his journey. Shame!!

I think honesty, he’s the one who fell on the rock. “Who believed for a while then in times of temptation, fell away” and I say that one because the seed on the thorns gets choked out by cares of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth but Kanye was already rich and had been rich for almost 2 decades. I don’t it was him being rich (although I’m SURE that contributes to the problem) but just, that he heard the gospel, received it… then fell away over time

I can attest to the damaging impact porn has on young children. My father also had magazines (hundreds) that I was able to see at a very young age and it still negatively affects me and I'm in my 50's.

It's very widely known that he pushes everyone away that disagrees with him/ tries to tell him to stop something he doesn't.

I had a porn addiction for years even while being a believer. I felt so ashamed afterward and filled with fear of damnation and hell, and tons of guilt though I kept doing it. I did keep praying for help though. Finally the lord showed me that my flesh is weak even though my spirit wanted to quit therefore I needed to cut it off or I would never be able to quit. I then found a way to block it so that there was no way to access it. That’s my saving grace. If it’s available I can’t quit thinking about it. But if you know you can’t get to it then the thoughts go away eventually.

You're presuming he is of the flock.
Nobody can “herd” him anywhere. The Holy Spirit is the only One who can convict him of his sìns and draw him to Christ for TRUE repentance, spiritual rebirth, and regeneration. For that to happen he’s going to have to be broken of his pride, which is difficult for wealthy, famous people like him, but nothing is impossible for our Heavenly Father. Jesus says it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than to enter the kingdom of God, but with God, all things are possible. Pray for him. He needs Jesus. He was never changed from the start, never born again and never displayed the fruits of the Spirit, so he has always been a goat, not a “sheep”.

You know, the scriptures give us specific details about what the life of a true convert to Christ looks like, and if you actually read the scriptures you will see that. Nobody who is truly born again and spiritually regenerated walks away from Christ, because the Holy Spirit remains in them. The indwelling Holy Spirit is what keeps us persevering in the faith, and Jesus says if you’re not born again you’ll never enter God’s kingdom, John 3. A person who is indwelled by the Holy Spirit has A CHANGED LIFE. I’m not living the same way I was 20 years ago, because the Holy Spirit changed my heart to love righteousness, and He renewed my mind. I’m not perfect, but the Holy Spirit is still working in me, sanctifying me, and Jesus will perfect me when He takes me home. A born again believer in Christ can fall into sìn, but they will not stay in it, because the Holy Spirit won’t allow them to. Once you’re born again, you are CHANGED forever, and you can never sìn peacefully again. This man was NEVER CHANGED, from the moment he announced his “conversion”, he continued to put out things that were blatantly occùItic, and born again believers were able to discern that he was a false convert from the start.
