Great podcast ladies. More pattern ideas to add to my favorites. I was so excited to see that I won that beautiful prize. Thank you so much🥰.
You are so welcome!
Would love to see you all wear your Daily Pullovers in one episode some day. It has been fun today. Thanks for sharing your wine. Will have to get some Walt. See you next time.
Claudia needs to knit hers first. Janet and I will wear ours soon. 😉
Ballet is the length of the skirt, and bracelet is the length of the sleeves. Enjoy your podcast have a great year.
Lois-Marie, Thanks for clearing that up for us with the bracelet vs. ballet length. Thanks for watching! Cheers to a great 2023! 🧶🍷
WOW! All great knits and picks! Thank you!
Hi Kate! Thanks 😊
So nice to spend time with you ladies again. Your knits are gorgeous - and yes, my favorite list is growing after each episode! My husband and I love Pinots - we used to live in Oregon and grew to love them there. I will be on the lookout for Walt.
Hi Barbara! Thank you so much! You won’t be disappointed with Walt. Cheers! 🧶🍷
So beautiful sweaters Ladies💝
Love watching your podcast!!!!🙏
Bonna, Thanks for all your great comments on our podcast. We definitely love the art of knitting and glad you are enjoying sharing that with us. 😀🧶🍷
Ladies! Another great show with so many lovely makes and yarns and other goodies. I purchased a tumble! Thanks for asking for the discount code. Thank you for taking the time to share with us all. Your appreciated. 🎉🎉❤❤
Liz, That’s great you liked the tumblers like we did and enjoy!!! Thanks so much for watching and we appreciate you!!! 🧶🍷
Gorgeous knits and so many of them!!! Tami - please keep wearing the color Claret and that lipstick. Love you in reds!
Thanks Lorien! ☺️
Hello. I discovered you ladies recently and am so happy to see three retired ladies doing a knitting podcast and topping things off with a nice bottle of wine! I am retired and enjoy wine as well. I started knitting almost 6 years ago when my daughter was pregnant. My mother passed away, so someone had to knit!! I learned as a child but never got into it even though my mother and grandmother were expert knitters. I taught myself everything through youtube. I love it! I am in awe of all of your beautiful work and the amazing volume!!! I sit and knit to your podcasts while having some wine myself. You gals are great company especially on these cold winter nights! I live on the Canadian Prairies where -40 is not uncommon. I have subscribed and wish you all the best. Cheers and Bottoms Up...or Top Down....lol!
I'm glad you found us, and I love your story. Tammi also learned to knit by watching RUclips. Thankfully she's very good at it and has taught us. It's nice to have someone to lean on when you get to a spot you don't understand. Happy knitting and cheers!
Beautiful sweaters!!!
I'm glad you like them! Thanks for watching.
Lovely episode girls x
Thanks Glenda!
ALL of your knits continue to be beautiful and inspirational! I will be making that Home Cardigan for my daughters and just might have to add me to that list! Just waiting on the mohair to arrive! Cheers 🍷 and it is pronounced “two-k” aka toque (Canadian eh! 😉)
Thanks Maryann! I hope your daughter loves the cardigan. Cheers! 🧶🍷
Happy 2023 ladies!!!🎉🎉🎉 Janet, your Fairy Bouquet is going to be gorgeous. Tammy your daisy colorwork is going to be exceptional...is that entarsia? And Claudia, congratulations on finishing your cozy poncho. So pretty. You all have such inspirational knits. Thanks ladies for sharing your lovely makes.
Paula, Thank you so much for your nice compliments! So glad we can be an inspiration. The daisy colorwork is not entarsia. Thanks for watching!!! 🧶🍷
Me encanta verlas son muy lindas! Y de los tejidos unas manos y gustos geniales. Saludos desde Lima Perú
Thank you so much Yolanda!
❤️❤️❤️❤️You said something before you taught your friend to knit and I wonder if you would like to show us your techniques too?? such as how you hold a yarn, how do you knit to get a "flow"?? Always amazed at how you can knit a sweater so quickly!😍 How many hours do you spend knitting every day and what times of the day do you knit? Now there were a lot of questions, sorry, but I wish you could answer!! By the way, when you are going to show your things in the camera, bake a little and you will get the sharpness. Thanks for a wonderful video super nice to watch every time!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Bozica! We are all throwers. We are all retired. I knit in the morning with my coffee. I think Claudia and Janet do too. We get together twice a week to knit. Both days we hang out for several hours. I also knit at night while watching television with my husband. When we stopped the recording and checked, the camera had an incorrect setting. Hence the blurry closeups. Thanks for the wonderful comments.
I just discovered your podcast and have been binge watching all 10 episodes!!! Love it!! I also have just recently retired and loving the many hours of knitting and creating!! Just wondering what other hobbies you ladies have and are you all mothers and/or grandmothers? I love knitting for my grandchildren! Great job, ladies!! I'm from Prince Edward Island, Canada
Hi Sandra and welcome! We are so happy you found us. Janet and I have grandchildren, Claudia does not. We will address our other hobbies on our next episode. Cheers! 🧶🍷
I get a smile on my face when I see you’ve posted a new vlog, love seeing all your lovely knits, more patterns to add to my favourites 😊 Happy New Year 🎉 great episode!
Thanks Elissa!
I love adding pockets to my cardigans.
Lovely...finished my Sir Lancelot for DH you would like the color and texture.
I bet it is gorgeous!
Happy new year lovely ladies. Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful knits! 💕🧶😀😢
Happy New Year Crystal! You are so very welcome! Cheers! 🧶🍷
Do you ladies every drink white wines? I like some reds but really love white wines, not exactly sure why. Lately I've fallen in love with an Old Vine Zin by OZV. They describe it as "jammy" and I would agree. It's like desert in a glass. Lovely sweaters as always!
We drink a little white or rose wines on occasion when it’s warm outside but we’re mainly red wine drinkers. I’ve heard of the old vine Zinks by OZV but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for watching!!!! 🧶🍷
Love your podcast. There re so many beautiful projects, and it is a joy to watch. Many garments you are showing are in my Favourites already, it is so nice to see them made in others yarns or colours. I am also using Knit Picks yarn quite a bit, especially Wool of the Andes. Your wine tasting at the end is so delicious too. Cheers - Na Zdrowie
Kasia, Thanks so much for your compliments. The real expensive yarns aren’t necessarily the best. Thanks for watching! 🧶🍷
You girls are so inspiring! I love everything you make and I really love hearing about those special wines 🍷🍷🍷
Thanks so much for watching and your nice compliments!!! 🧶🍷
I plan to make the Scottish Highlands Shawl this year, too! Such a beautiful pattern.
Thanks so much for your sweet comment and you’ll enjoy making it. I’m anxious to get the beautiful lace done so I can wear it. Thanks for watching!! 🧶🍷
Always so much inspiration! I had purchased yarn for the Drawing sweater, but not sure I'll knit it...I'm a bit intimidated! Thanks for the idea of the Wyeth...I've had Brooklyn Tweed Shelter put aside for a Weekender, but I'm thinking the neckline in that would be scratchy, so I think I'll switch my plan to the Wyeth 😄
Sandra, I think the Brooklyn tweed would be great in the Wyeth pattern. Thanks for watching!! 🧶🍷
Happy New Year Ladies. 🎉 I really enjoy your podcasts and love seeing your finished projects. Added so many to my favorites! I live in Australia and I’m working out the best way to get some of those yarn cones 🍷 ❤️
Hi Marie! It is really expensive to ship them. I bought 3 cones and a few of the wound off ends from cones (more than a sweater quantity of each) and the shipping to the US was more than the cost of a cone. It was worth it though. Cheers! 🧶🍷
Happy New Year Ladies 🎉
Lots of yarny best wishes for 2023 xx
Mandy, Happy New Year to you and thanks for watching! 🧶🍷
Another wonderful episode. Happy New Year ladies! And happy new knitting 🧶♥️
Thank you! 😊
Happy New Year! 🎉 Beautiful projects - so fun to watch you three! Thank you for another great episode! 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Happy New year ladies! Love the podcast this week, as always.
Thanks to you, I have taken a wee look at Joanna Ang, and added Helia to my queue. I am going to use Knitting for Olive merino held with their mohair, in the colour Flamingo. Soft and feminine, which is totally the vibe of her designs.
Now I'm off to go buy a delicious red wine cause I've somehow got a hankering for a South Australian cabernet sauvignon! 😂🍷
Your Helia will be lovely! I hope you enjoyed your wine. 🤣🤣
Tami - for the changes you made in the Wyatt did it come with a chart that you modified? Did you find your stitch patterns in one of the knitting stitches books for help with the charting?
I am not into all over stitch patterns but I have wanted to add come lace to a v-neck pattern I have knit a couple of times but I am not sure where to start. Any pointers?
@@StarfireReborn I need to just take the plunge. Worst case, I frog it and try again. Thank you for the info.
Another wonderful podcast, as usual. So many wonderful knit patterns that i want to knit. I have to finish my Birkin by Caitlin Hunter. I am a little unhappy with it at the moment because the yoke seems really long and so the length that i need to knit below the arm holes is making the sweater, from neck to bottom, very long. I will keep going and, hopefully, blocking will somehow make this sweater fit right. Wish me luck. 😊
Hi Julia. I created an Excel spreadsheet for the different textures I wanted. I looked at Ravelry for inspiration.
Why do you have cards under all the paintings?
Hi Betty! We travel a lot with so many different friends. My husband likes to take overhead photos of our wine or cocktails. Since only our hands show and the photos are from all over the world, we decided to add museum plaques with all of the pertinent info. It is fun to look at them and remember the trips or events. Cheers! 🧶🍷
I do not understand why you would invite people to your house pour wine into glasses and then leave it sit there for an hour and a half. You're doing it wrong. You invite people to your house you pour wine into glasses and you hand it to them and you say there's more where that came from. After about an hour you're in your second bottle and the podcast becomes a whole lot looser and more fun. Just saying that's about the weirdest thing I think I've ever seen.
🤣 Kate, I agree! It takes a lot of discipline to let the wine just sit there for an hour and a half and not drink it until the end. We’ll see what we can do. 🧶🍷
