• Radiohead - Creep
For the first time on the channel, we are checking out Radiohead with their hit song "Creep." This song was definitely an emotional tune that initially feels somewhat self-loathing. The more I listened though, the more I realized it was a perspective piece on the insecurities that we all feel. (At least that's how I took it). I loved alot of the musical choices that were made and it definitely had a 90's feel to it. Can't wait to hear more from Radiohead! Hope you enjoy! #reaction #radiohead #radioheadcreep #90smusic #90smusicvideo #musicreactions #grungerock

This is such a unique tune! What should we check out next from Radiohead?!
For me, this song embodies feeling strange and socially awkward, especially on those teenage years, when you want to belong, and also starting having crushes , and having a hard time expressing and even understanding your feeling
Great insight and perspective! Thanks for watching!
You're too influenced by being a teenager.
He doesn’t feel good enough, it’s about feeling unworthy. He wrote it when he was at University…..
there’s so many great songs from Radiohead.
I grew up in the 50's-60's listening to all music. This is one of the greatest songs ever. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Definitely an "Emo" song. You're in a good head space with your self-confidence to be on the side of "not getting it" right away, which is healthy and awesome! And you also understand how we all get the blues as humans. For some of us out here this is kind of our base line sense of self unfortunately.
This one could be their most popular song but is far away from being their best one, trust me. They are my favorite band, their music is amazing, you should give them a try, you will not regret that. Nice reaction and comments btw, you just earned a new sub 👍🏼
This was my time, some of the best music was made in the 90's, specially the grunge era.
Yes, it’s self loathing. Inward reflection and contemplation is a hallmark of emotional maturity and intelligence. There’s poetry and beauty in melancholy. Not everything has to be sugar coated with Disney to be beautiful.
No doubt! This was such a great tune and genius writing! 🔥
Radiohead are not just any old 90s band. They have a catalogue of genius songs (and some less genius) but they do not do "happy"!
Pablo Honey is a quintessential 90's grundge/alt album. Creep is one of my favorite songs. Other Radiohead fans will roast me for that. When he screams RUNnnNnnNnn it really gets me. The next album is freaking fantastic. Lightyears better than Pablo Honey. It is still a 90's sound. I listen to the first two when I'm feeling nostalgic. Their third album is a masterpiece and shot them into the stratosphere. By the time you get to In Rainbows you will be amazed how much they changed. They are my favorite band of all time.
I’m a long, long time Radiohead fan and I salute you for loving Creep. It’s a nearly perfect song. Their entire discography post Pablo just amplifies how good it was when it was released.
Excellent reaction! Please continue the beautiful and strange decent into RADIOHEAD. PARANOID ANDROID is a nice second song for a reaction 😊
Hawk wind
---Lord of Life -----from Space Ritual Live album
Radiohead is my favorite!!!! They are beyond gifted 🔥🔥🔥
@@AuthorLaurieAnnSmith I definitely have to check out more from them! Loved this tune for sure though!
Love, love,love❤❤❤
100% you got it. He sees the imperfections in himself and feels like his is less than and can't even compete with the girl he wants. Thinks he is not good enough.
They are genuisus! I’d watch your journey into their souls.
Street Spirit Video is one of my favourites, gets me every time, definitely worth a watch.
If anyone ever gets mad at you for reacting, then they clearly don’t get the point of reaction videos. Keep it up.
Haha 🤣 True, but there are surprisingly still people that get fired up! It doesn’t bother me too much though! Thanks for the kind words and hanging out!
🖤🖤🖤
I always think of this as clean Grunge. It isn't normally in the genre but it fits conceptually. Great first reaction! At the time it really told the truth for so many GenX and later. A Radio video Generation. We didn't have this much media available then.
Great insight! I can definitely see what you mean by that!
This was just the beginning for Radiohead, they just got better and better, evolving and experimenting, being true to themselves. Creep became a hinderence to them because they refused to be defined by it despite the clamour from audiences and the record company to do more of the same. The third album OK Computer is heralded as one the greatest albums of the 90's, and an all time classic by many. Even then they didn't settle for that formula and continued to experiment and innovate. Paranoid Android live on Jools Holland Later at the BBC is just stunning, would love to see your reaction. Cheers.
Appreciate all the info and thanks for hanging out! Definitely gonna check out more from them!
You should watch the Live version of this.. greatest live performance EVER!!
Postmodern Jukebox takes modern songs and turns them into old time jazz/swing/blues covers - You must check out the vocal brilliance of Haley Reinhart doing "Creep" like nobody else can - ruclips.net/video/m3lF2qEA2cw/видео.html
Oh cool! Never heard of them! Definitely have to check it out! Thanks so much! 😁
@@setonhillstudios I second the recommendation. The video has more than 124M views for good reason.
Love the song. I've always thought this song was about a stalker, he being creep and saying run away..... It reminds me of Tyler by The Toadies....
Creep is an appetizer. The entire album "the bends" will cook your noodle. From there its just a crash course in wtf.
these guys are amazing zing live, saw them back in the day. Got a Lot of their albums
So cool! Gotta check out more of their tunes for sure! 🔥
@@setonhillstudios it certainly resonated at the time, everyone sang along.
This was in the movie SFW and the lyrics reflect the dynamic of the movie - a beautiful girl and Spab, completely out of her league.
Gotcha! Thanks for the info and swinging by! Loved the tune though! 🔥
Check out Fake Plastic Trees by them.
Sweet! Thanks for the recommendation and hanging out! 😁
Radiohead are one of those bands who are better live. If you get the chance, react to their love performances.
Paranoid android live version should be next.
Oh sweet! Definitely have to check that out! Appreciate it!
I love this Radiohead song!; ❤
Such a banger! Thanks for hanging out!
I am really enjoying your reactions and I just love your accent! 🥰😊🇬🇧
Creep was definitely great and had that nice emo touch, but for a wild ride, try Paranoid Android. By far the most complex of all Radiohead songs.
Honestly, 😅I don't know how anyone could service this world without this doubt, amongst others
For sure! Definitely a very unique perspective and an authentic look at human behavior as a whole!
The Brian Justin Crum cover of this song from Americas Got Talent is amazing and worth reacting to. Of course so is the Post Modern Jukebox cover.
I head the Postmodern Jukebox cover is insane! Never heard of them but definitely going to check them out!
Prince's version of this song is worth checking out. It has a different perspective and of course has a killer guitar solo.
Oh sweet! I had no idea he did this tune! I bet it’s killer!!! 🔥
I second the Prince recommendation. It may be my favorite Prince performance, along with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance of While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
So good 👍
Paranoid Android is a masterpiece you need to check out.
❤❤❤❤Outstanding !!!!! Thank you for this reaction!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching! 😄
I'm so glad that you came around! I was almost disappointed with your reaction. 😆❤️✌️
Haha 🤣
You gotta watch the "best live performance" version.
differrent social status, She snubs him treats him like a creep. Starcastic you are so much better then me,
Gotcha! Nice insight on that one! I feel like there can be many different interpretations of this one! Thanks for watching! 😁
It's meant to be depressive 😂
As a musician, if you can figure out the time signature on Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song”, then you’ll have fine something still baffling musicians to this day.
I’ll have to check that out! Thanks for the recommendation!
I saw one reaction to this song and their interpretation was that she needs to run from this freak. I actually can see that interpretation, but mine is more an introvert (like me) wanting their love interest too run because they feel they can never be the one they need, not feeling worthy. Am I making sense? I had this song as my theme song since the 90s, even though MCR is my favourite band in the world and will always be. I'm soon 53 and I resonate to this song immensely. Hugs from Sweden.
Great insight and I know exactly what perspective you are coming from! Thanks for hanging out! Appreciate it! 😄
This song is about a stalker. I don't belong here is about him being in places that she is and he shouldn't be. He feels so beneath of what she is in his mind that it's self-loathing. The RUN section is telling her to run because he knows that she will. All of it puts you in a different perspective...and is creepy.
Oh wow! Creepy indeed! 😳
Great reaction and you pretty much nailed the song meaning. This song for me epitomises Radiohead in the way they go from 0-100MPH in a heartbeat. I'd recommend them live Glastonbury doing Lucky. 2003.Another is Bloom (TV Live 2011).
You should listen this song singing by Brian Justin Crum. He sings it with passion, a little grid and feeling. To me that one is epic
Please watch Brian Justin Crum w/his personal story behind this. June👩🏻🦰I think American Idol🙁
Try Mimi & Josefin from German voice Kids. And Rock on 🔊🎼🎵🎶🎸🎹
Appreciate the recommendation! Have a great one! 🤘🏻
Listen to post modern jukebox version of this song. Your emotions may get the better of you !!!!!!!
That’s what I keep hearing! 😄
@@setonhillstudios oh and please please pretty please record your reaction ! Thanks 🙏
Bo, check out the new deep purple, "lazy sod ", them old boys still rock 🪨 🎸 😎
Appreciate the suggestion and thanks for hanging out! 🤘🏻
you think that's depressing you should listen to their other material this is their most uplifting song.
Oh wow! 😳
If you want to hear a great cover, just for your listening pleasure, check out EXTREME lead guitarist/co-singer Nuno Bettencourt’s. He sang it for charity for the David Z Foundation in 2021. No guitar playing, just Nuno’s great vocals.

Direct copy of the hollies, air that I breathe. They got sued.
Really?! That’s wild!
This is basically a guy that's dating/married above himself. 🧐
Gotcha! Thanks for sharing!
The song is about a crush the lead singer had on a girl in school. No hear Prince do this song live ruclips.net/video/9uu5vMLufNA/видео.htmlsi=nLqzpzzRZwrXZh5I
Gotcha! Thanks for the suggestion and the link! Have a great one!
I'm not good at ages. Youre about 56?
Haha 🤣 Not quite Take off about 16 years! Now I feel like I need to look younger! 😂
