I did start learning to play classical guitar many years ago, but because of my work as a university professor, lessons ended just half a year after. Now, after more than 40 years, I'm picking up classical guitar lessons with my Masaru Matano 400 (1974). Ms. Thu Le's lessons are indispensable. I am already indebted to you Thu Le, not just because of the lessons but also because of your exceptionally admirable personal touch. You are a very precious gift to the universe.
That was super interesting, I agree with everything you say ! I have never seen a bridge like this, it looks nice!! Very soothing to listen to you, almost equaly to listening to your playing 👍 Thank you very much
Muchas gracias Thu Le. Tengas buen Domingo y siempre luces hermosa.
I wish my guitars had the twelve hole bridges. They give the most consistent saddle contact. I’m considering modifying my bridge when I re fret my guitar to the 12 hole system. Thanks for showing how to tie the strings on this configuration. I’ve been hoping for someone I could trust to show that for a while. Your super! 🕊🌹🕊
Thank you. Why do you prefer your bass strings to be of a higher tension than your treble strings? Is it the type of guitar that dictates that choice? Often my bass strings seem to overpower the treble strings' response and then I choose the treble strings to be of higher tension than my basses. You always play with perfect balance between bass and melody on the treble side and it does not appear as if you are compensating in any way while playing.
Mixed tension is the best compromise. Bass strings with strong tension do not slip on the fretboard and have a powerful sound . Normal tension is ok for discant strings
Hi Thu Le, what is your first name? Thu or Le? Thanks for that technical Video, i play also a 12 hole Hanika Custom spruce top with Cocobolo wood. The guitar is made by my personal order and sounds great. Your tips of wounding the bass strings a very helpful for me. For the treble strings i make a small marble with a fire tool. Big and friendly F# from Sina!
Thanks Thu Le. I've noticed that for some classical pieces the low E string is tuned down to D. Is there a model of strings that's better suited for doing this?
, y de aquí con "cuerdo". ¿Y? Y que tanto la "CORDura" como el "enCORDado" se originaron de las "entrañas" (tripas y corazón). ¿Y? ... "changing strings"
Finally a something easy we can do like Maestra 😁
