When we talk about the multimedia industry with idols, rap group and bands. There are many competitors on the market now. Idolmaster from Bandai Namco Love Live! from Kadokawa and Bandai Namco BanG Dream from Bushiroad Hypnosismic from King Records 22/7 (nananiji) from Aniplex and Sony Music Idoly Pride from CyberAgent and Sony Music As you said in the video Bushiroad plays to their strengths and it shows from Kidani. When anime wasn't big of a success like Love Live! Kidani put more effort into the mobile game. Kadokawa was very agressive with Muse to make light novel and manga adaptations. Love Live! was all time high then. Aqours didn't get a light novel nor did Nijigasaki. They have kinda lost interest in Love Live! and it's literally pushed by Lantis and Sunrise nowadays. Sony's strength and advantage is music compared to the competition. While other franchises have declined Sony's own franchise has increased. The group's single sales have increased for each single. Mostly thanks to Aki-P's lyrics and Sony Music's expertise in getting right composers. Congrats to their 4th anniversary and very first single to sell a gold disc (100,000 copies) with 7th single. Good momentum to end 1st chapter with 1st album on 6/30 and enter 2nd chapter with season 2 of anime TV series and other medias next year. Idolmaster is seeing competition from 22/7 on CDTV's top 10 on TBS while Aqours has dropped out from CDTV and BanG Dream's bands have never entered the top 10. Poppin'Party's 16th single only sold 10,000 copies in the first week on Oricon's weekly chart. They sold 28,000 last year with 15th single so it could be the effect of pandemic. Idolmaster has lower sales than before. If you don't have strong songs you will kinda fail during these circumstances. And Hypnosismic continues to rely on music because the first season of anime got backlash. A-1 Pictures have their blunders and this happened to be one of them last year along with Warlords of Sigrdrifa. Kaguya-sama season 2 and 22/7 got praise (obvious, put more effort into their own product). SAO Alicization War of Underworld got backlash for part 2 of the season. Anyway, Hypnosismic has strong album sales instead of single sales. Idoly Pride has just started but their debut was worse than 22/7 (5004 copies in the first week) and anime adaptation didn't help to boost single sales. 1000 copies is still better than Muse's 434 copies.
You got me interested on what is 22/7 you seemed to be hyping them up.but I have question . How relevant or accurate CDTV list compared to ORICON or billboard Japan hot 100? I'm sure oricon and billboard are trusted top list guide . Second question from wiki 22/7 highest oricon is top 2 and billboard is 8 . Got curious about bang dream their 15 single oricon did top 1 daily and weekly that's why they sold well . Now the 16th single you're saying it's only sold 10k but after I look it's also top 1 in oricon daily and weekly also billboard week it peaked at top 1 .with that top spots how can it only sold 10k ? While look at 22/7 they peak at 2 and sold 34k and 50k on different singles? How can you say it was a decline when bang dream achieved top spot on consecutive singles? Kinda does not add up
Bushiroad: "Don't imitate the others!" Also Bushiroad: BanG Dream = Love Live + K-On inspired (sorta succeeded by D4DJ) Vanguard = Yu-Gi-Oh inspired (on its second restructure as of this post) Buddyfight = Duel Masters inspired (dead game) Luck & Logic = Z/X inspired (dead game) Dragoborne = MTG inspired (dead game) And with Aniplex releasing Build Divide, Bushiroad may have issues getting future anime licenses for Weiss & Vanguard collaborations.
6:30 or chaging your company so much you stop developing games and pretty much lose all of the reputation you earned in just 2 to 3 months ( Konami and MGS, and also their total change from a beloved game company to a mobile games and pachiko company who sometimes releases collections of their old games )
@@SeisakuDesk me looking at their quarterly financial . I'm like no experience with that stuff so I just read the notes what i saw in the latest . Correct me if I read it wrong. Their sales are going well in 3 consecutive quarter it's going up. But because of the pandemic bushiroad need to allocate funds . For cancelled live events and massive refunds which made bushiroad expenses blow up. It got bad last quarter report because live show department did not earn. Good thing TCG bounced back last quarter to of set the loss
@@SeisakuDesk it's just also bad luck the bushiroad just co owned a theater literally go before covid was a thing. Bushiroad had plans to do live plays that mostly got cancelled it's like 200+ plays just gone .
Bonne continuation ;)
2nd episode from this series. I struggled a lot to do this episode but I'm proud of the result.
So, I hope you enjoyed it
Great video!! I'm a huge fan of D4DJ, and also a fan of Bandori and Revue Starlight, so that was an interesting watch.

Funny enough those singles came from Poppin party and not Roselia who is much more popular
me being a weiss schwarz and bandori fan, and spending money on both lol
You should be honored for that

Don't imitate the BUSINESS of the others. If a work met success, put your own trick and turn it to a trend (we see you, SAO)
