Mass effort like animation or filming does not keep the lights on, as they talk about within this content and through other sleepycast podcasts. Their predictions about adpocalypse came true (anyone could predict that really) and now playing a random game and cutting it up into 10-12 minute segments is the best way to make money sadly. Oney talks about this in most podcasts here, it's sad that it's better financially, fame wise, like... Making content that has mass appeal is to just film something for a hour, maybe spend 1-100 hours depending to make 1-100 episodes of gaming content rather than 3 months 12 hours a day worth of a animation that makes 1/100th of the money. I think oney is making a video game and works and helps out on other bigger projects. This is what RUclips and other platforms reward, PewdiePie was one era, Joe Rogan and Mr Beast are big now, another will come to reflect what the RUclips and cultural overlords want. What is Rice Pirate and Stamper doing? Apart from a fantastic cartoon and voice acting rolls from a couple years ago from Rice Pirate (Mick) I literally could not tell you. I don't have twitter and Im out of the big loop. Point being, making (averageish) content makes bank and I would be doing the same. Bills have to be paid while you do the bigger projects. I mean no hate to anyone, I'm fans of everyone Involved :)

It sucks but it's never gonna happen. Sleepycast in it's original form was just lightning in a bottle, a bunch of hilarious dudes living together in a time right before people making offensive jokes would start being hunted down and scolded like dogs who peed on the carpet. A lot of the group is fractured, moved onto different things, or adapted to the new climate and toned down the offensive humor, doubling down the absurdism factor (Zach and Chris specifically). Not saying offensive humor can't exist now (cancel culture was taking form well before Sleepycast), but most of these guys aren't the Wawa-eating internet animators scraping by with nothing to lose they once were, a good chunk have professional careers now. As Zach said towards the end of Sleepycast, it was a moment in time that should be looked back on fondly, a screenshot of a transitionary period for all these guys. Sleepycabin forever.

They all tolerated each other, and just said whatever the fuck they wanted. It was unique. This show is incredibly unique, and can never be copied or emulated. These people are my heros and I love everything they will ever have to offer. Nothing has ever inspired me more than this show. What a pot of gold, a bowl of happiness, and a cup of sweet tea.

I was dressed in an incredibly shitty flash outfit made out of construction paper because I was a stupid kid with no money that thought it looked good enough. I asked him if he planned on making a Flash movie and very politely he said "I don't know, we'll see". I felt so stupid after that whole thing.
Da Bomb is legitimately way hotter than other sauces that are supposedly hotter via the scoville scale. It's not just the peppers, but something about the way they concentrate it and possibly an added acidic component that makes your tongue more sensitive lead that sauce to be WAY more potent than it says on the packaging.
I love the way they approached the Game Grumps topic xD I've never understood why Arin tip toes about the issue so much. Kind of feel like Danny talked it out with him once, since Danny brings it up now and then on the show, like he's trying to coax it out of Arin. So glad these guys just went straight for it and punched the issue in the face.
I think that let's plays will be around for as long as video games and online videos both exist, but walkthrough styled ones will probably become more common. There will always be an audience for video game secrets, how to do certain things, a lot of people want quick looks at games before they waste money on them, so I think game reviews will also stick around. The entertainment side might die down and lose popularity, but the ones that provide information about games will stick around.

I think that let's plays will be around for as long as video games and online videos both exist, but walkthrough styled ones will probably become more common. There will always be an audience for video game secrets, how to do certain things, a lot of people want quick looks at games before they waste money on them, so I think game reviews will also stick around. The entertainment side might die down and lose popularity, but the ones that provide information about games will stick around.
