Both she and Kristen Chenoweth brought characters to The West Wing that were both believable and truthful. Outsiders, (as characters), brought in to bring new ideas and observations to the existing characters. Watch them with more care and you will see just what I mean........
Ye gods I hated that character SO much, mainly because of the lazy vocal fry in her voice. It takes a good actor to play a role that makes people hate you.

I love the way Josh just stops breathing when he sees her in that dress! Great dialogue, relationship dynamics.....just wow!

And this scene reminded me why I crushed so hard on Mary Louise Parker while watching The West Wing in college.

I believe he said 'They're still up, right?' - referring to POTUS and FLOTUS, but Schiff does have a tendency to mumble so I get how you heard Brad :)
