Global launch of the 2022 Special Report on Human Security

The global launch event for UNDP’s special report, “New Threats to Human Security in the Anthropocene,” brought in a diverse set of voices and perspectives with the aim to kick-off a global conversation on a new generation of human security. UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner was joined at the event by Laura Chinchilla, former President of Costa Rica; Keizo Takemi, member of the House of Councillors of the Japanese parliament; and top development thinkers from around the world for a deep-dive discussion on arenas for action to advance human security.
