I generally stick to the lower cost sabers, that still look cool, and I like the "original" design ones more then movie replica ones. Also I got tiny hands so I need hilts that are on the skinner side, I don't like the hilts I can barely wrap my hand around
Some of'em is kinda bulky, I have small hands myself. Ah'ight, My thing is not the pixel lighting, It's the construction of the blade. The thickness of it is 2mm. Why can't the Saber factories Construct a 4.5mm thick blades? That way, It can be a little bit more tougher For it's forocious dueling.
I want to find something in my life that gets me as excited as she got when the Second Sister sound-board-gesture thing kicked in. Very informative video thanks!

Awesome video. For myself, I am completely obsessed with Korbanth. The amount of detail in their hilts are beyond anything I’ve seen. I almost exclusively use Korbanth for my sabers.

Great content, thank you for such a meticulous comparison. It makes a huge difference now when deciding on the next purchase! There is still one burning question that remains: - if I buy the Heavy Grade Neo blade at Sabertrio and a hilt at Crimson Dawn, will they be compatible? I like the idea of a combat ready neo blade and the option of connecting 2 hilts together (Maul style) :)
Not sure about the two companies but every neopixel blade regardless of company all have to use the same style neopixel connector plug so you can mix and match blades with different brands and they'll work perfectly fine.

i got the Arc 2.0 hilt from imperial workshop for my birthday a little bit ago. i've been practicing and i have found my comfortable hand positioning in order to spin smoothly. however, i would still like to know your thoughts on that hilt in the world of spinning and dueling.

Hey i just got my first neopixle and now it’s the battery is becoming low and maybe it’s a stupid question but I don’t wanna mess up so I’ll rather ask, can I leave the blade connected to the hilt while charging or do I need to separate them?
While I do agree GHv3 is the easiest to program blade styles it is very limited in the amount of blade styles compared to Proffie. And almost no one makes custom blade styles for GHv3 that you can buy. The custom font community is so huge for proffie and cfx which in my opinion makes them much better.
No i totally agree, but as far as effects/blade styles the saber come with before any programming, GHV3 came with soooo much more than Proffie - but Proffies are definitely better in terms of customization.
For real. GHv3 just comes loaded with defaults that you can swap between. CFX and Proffie both have effect library websites that you can copy+paste from to get more.... if you don't care to make your own.
@@carlyking CFX is about to get crazy in the next firmware update. You'll be able to just doodle in MS Paint and upload .bmp image files as blade styles. And it will support preon blade effects. (can actually do that now in the current beta firmware, but it's a bit janky)

Hallo Carly! I want to order a darth revan lightsaber but i cant decide which length to get on the blade. I know that tall people like me 6,3 foot should get a 36 inch blade but i wanna use it for spinning so i know that 32 is better for the balance. The problem with he 32 is that it looks a bit weird because im so tall, what length do you have on most of your sabers and what would you recommend me to go for?

Just got my first Imperial Workshop and I'm noticing there's a lacking of neopixel groups on FB. Perhaps somebody can guide me to a text FAQ? My most basic question is "35 around fonts are just too many and take too long to cycle through. Can I just delete the lines in the config file (leaving a backup, of course) to remove the ones I don't like, say down to 10 or so?"
I LOVE my Sabertrio saber. However I wouldn't recommend the pach store. They were nothing but a pain to deal with when I was having issues with their product that ultimately never got resolved
At the 1:25 mark, " I don't like scams!" and the little symbol pops up, brilliant. So 1st hand knowledge, I ordered from " the scam company" back in early July, after being lied to over and over about when my order would ship, I had enough. I called my CC company and filled a dispute. Apparently the word is out because my CC refunded my money on the spot. Hopefully your excellent videos can spare others what I went through. Thanks for all you do, also I learned the Obi/Ani saber spin from you, so thanks. Keep up the good work, happy holidays. 😁
FYI I’m a videographer, i’m not sure what camera system you are using for your adjustment possibilities but the flickering in the background can generally be illuminated by changing the shutter speed even if it’s just digital like a cell phone.
Hi there im new subscriber.. and i would just suggest you the right tool for cutting your blade, rather than this (15:45 ), simply search for a professional tube cutter in your hardware store, usually it will cost less than 20 dollars , get that one for copper tube or aluminum tube su it will be perfect for all materials. try and let me know 😉

Xenopixels is still a neopixel saber. pretty much the same thing. . Neopixels proffies need coding done to change fonts and blade ignitions & are far more customizable. But xenopixels comes with pre installed fonts & has gesture controls, which proffie boards don’t.

I don't buy lightsabers for spinning I buy for practicality. The reason why is spinning lightsabers wasn't really a thing until the anikin crywalker saga was made. In the original trilogy luke and Vader used more of a two handed style occasionally letting go with one hand to use force push or throw.
It depends! If you means Savi's lightsaber - you get a better quality lightsaber if you spend the same amount of money on a neopixel 2.0 from Imperial Workshop ($160) - however - I would say the experience of building your own lightsaber is worth it. As far as the Legacy lightsabers go, it's the same thing, however, the hilts are super pretty display pieces
I know I’m a whole year late!! 😭 I have a heavy grade neopixel blade that is not really my size and is kind of heavy for spinning. Would you recommend light grade over heavy grade for spinning?

Awesome updated version of your previous video Carly! My favorite design is my Genesis Custom Saber Ascend! I got it custom powdercoated and had a 4W WOW speaker installed! Super loud! But that’s just my preference. If you happen to do a another update vídeo in the future please add hilt chassis and speakers to your list of topics when buying a lightsaber! I always feel these are also things to consider when thinking about dueling stunt sabers and/or sound resonance in the hilt for spinning and shelf queens! Keep up the amazing videos and great content!!

Korbanth isn’t a company it’s a reseller yes they have great sabers but they are a hit or miss

So lgt and artsaber and darkwolfesabers they partnered up and made an Anakin skinnyflex you can get it in bas lit or neopixl

My absolute favorite lightsaber design is Luke's from Episode VI. I love the sleek silver and black with just that little pop of copper.
I love that lightsaber design, too. It's also Obi-Wan's lightsaber design as Luke followed his schematics.

I don't buy lightsabers for spinning I buy for practicality. The reason why is spinning lightsabers wasn't really a thing until the anikin crywalker saga was made. In the original trilogy luke and Vader used more of a two handed style occasionally letting go with one hand to use force push or throw.
What do you think of the Galaxy's Edge lightsabers, are they worth having?
It depends! If you means Savi's lightsaber - you get a better quality lightsaber if you spend the same amount of money on a neopixel 2.0 from Imperial Workshop ($160) - however - I would say the experience of building your own lightsaber is worth it. As far as the Legacy lightsabers go, it's the same thing, however, the hilts are super pretty display pieces

I have a heavy grade neopixel blade that is not really my size and is kind of heavy for spinning. Would you recommend light grade over heavy grade for spinning?

Awesome updated version of your previous video Carly! My favorite design is my Genesis Custom Saber Ascend! I got it custom powdercoated and had a 4W WOW speaker installed! Super loud! But that’s just my preference. If you happen to do a another update vídeo in the future please add hilt chassis and speakers to your list of topics when buying a lightsaber! I always feel these are also things to consider when thinking about dueling stunt sabers and/or sound resonance in the hilt for spinning and shelf queens! Keep up the amazing videos and great content!!
