Am i the only one who thinks this is far more superior to the big three middle Eastern airlines where everyone is always hyping about? I mean you get a first-class like seat in business class. And the food and service looks absolutely amazing.
It looks good but the Q suits with Qatar are something else. I get the idea from this review that ANA aren’t as well polished as the middle eastern airlines, and lounge was poor too with few showers which is never an issue in Doha or Dubai. I haven’t tried ANA business only seen this video, but I would probably still give it to the Q suits and Qatar for the best overall.
@@benjambreeg My problem is the opposite in that my destination of choice is usually Japan. When the Covid restrictions lift, maybe, just maybe, I might be able to afford this amazing product if I accept a hop from the UK to Germany on Lufthansa. I've done the London-Tokyo flight on ANA in economy in the past, but wanting Business does not stop me from being price conscious!

Emirates has a halo from its first class showers. It's biz class is very outdated 2-3-2 on the 777. It's a little better on the a380. Q suites with Qatar are top stuff.
Pretty good accommodations for business class. I'll likely never get to fly at that level unless I got bumped up due to double booking, but it's been informative to watch your videos and see how different airlines handle their business class and the pros and cons of each. Thanks for posting these videos.
Can't agree more on the importance of a shower facility being available at lounges, especially if you have long flights. Flying out of my country South Africa international flights are always long. The best i the good old days flyin SAA, was the arrivals lounge in Heathrow after an overnight flight😊👌🇿🇦

ANA lounges have been accepting Priority Pass holders since the pandemic- every single yen mattered for the airline for sure. I was there in July this year and my wait time for shower was around 2 hours. The lounge was clearly overcrowded. With travel demand bouncing back and Japan “sort of” reopening on 7th Sept, I wonder whether ANA will keep accepting priority pass holders much longer…? JAL lounge on the other hand was a lot quieter as it is not the Priority Pass lounge.

Hi Paul for a disabled large person like myself ANA business class is just purfect size wise. I personally speak Japanese and would never dream of eating anything on board that was not from the Japanese menu. The food supplied on your flight was outstanding even leaving my mouth watering. Other than the shower situation I give ANA a very big 👍

I have always seen good reviews about ANA and its business class. I think the shower issue will be temporary as others have suggested in the comments. Nice review in spite of a few problems. Food spectacular. I've always said the foreign flag carriers offer superior service and cuisine. And yes I get turbulence when coffee is served. Thanks Paul😀💚
We have flown ANA business Heathrow to Sydney via Tokyo partly 'The Room! Recognise ANA lounge but less busy for our ten hours there. March 2022. Had a shower no problem 30 minute wait. Staff hanging around I call the bowing police. Constantly reminding me to straighten mask even though covered mouth and nose all times except drinking tea.Japanese excess deaths not all that great despite all this masking. They keep bowing then being fairly rude. I asked one of them to stop bowing as I am old man: I suggested they bow to the mothers with children. Makes old men feel too important. Room was as shown. We were told forcefully to always keep part of it open presumably so they could check on our masks. Problem was it was SO hot. I asked for help but reply 'What are we supposed to do about it?' Used fan brought with us. Our window OK but others same as yours. We dropped a pen under seat and one of staff very helpful finding it for us. On the whole flying is always horrible and this no exception BUT they got us there and back safe! For that ANA thanks. I think it would have been better if we spoke Japanese, they perhaps would have explained their mores better to us. We ate Western food which very average. It took us 20 odd hours out of Tokyo avoiding Ukraine. We were locked up in big room with toilet in Vienna while plane refuelled.
Hands down the best airline I have ever flown. I think I have mentioned before about my experience with the hostess sitting beside me and feeding me noodles with my chopsticks , and that was in economy ! I have only flown Sydney to Tokyo , Narita in those days , overnight at airport hotel compliments of ANA then onto JFK . Then return JFK to Sydney with a 3 hour layover in Narita. Amazing service , food and so clean you could eat your dinner from the floor.
Sat enjoying dominos watching this in my hotel before club world to la tomorrow. Not exactly on a par but great the world is open enough again to be able to do it.
My very first ride on a 777-300er was Haneda to JFK in Japan Airlines business class about 4 years ago. Very nice trip. Like with your experience on ANA, the food was superb, both in flavour and presentation.

Airport gave off early morning before the mall opens vibes. Broken electric shade is why there should be at least some sort of physical window cover, even if it’s just an emergency backup the crew can stick on with tape.
I''m considering flying ANA early next year. Whether I get the Western or Japanese meals would probably depend on where the flight originates. I don't see the catering in New York or LA doing as well as those in Tokyo regarding the Japanese options.

I just flew CGK-NRT-JFK on JAL J - apex suites. It was great! I paid $1800 USD for the one way ticket. Based on your video the JAL lounge looked better and definitely had better food. I did manage a shower on my trip. Your seat looks superior to the Apex but Apex are also great. I slept well and really appreciate the extra feet space being 6'2". Service was great. The big highlight was my NRT-JFK "western" meal which was actually wagyu steak. It is the best steak I have had in the sky and better than many on the ground. I would happily fly JAL again but also want to try the room even more now!

I actually spent about 3 hours in the ANA lounge at Haneda last week and it was alright. Very busy tho, and definitely suffering from some post Covid restrictions. Overall Japan is stricter than a lot of the rest of the world, I think if the lounge was functioning at full steam with no restrictions it would be better.
I remember the good old days when I was a kid flying ANA from Washington to Tokyo back when the inflight entertainment was one movie played on flickery VHS tape. We really are spoiled these days, it’s a truly incredible experience flying from New York to Tokyo. Seeing the Atlantic and crossing the pacific all in one day.

ANA is my favorite airline and I have been unable to try "the room" business class. They fly 787-8 with regular business class where I am located. I guess I may have to fly to SFO or LAX to try the room for myself. I go with Japanese option and I always get a bowl of Ramen. Great video Paul

I have always chosen the Japanese food option when flying JAL and it, too, has been quite amazing. I'd love to try out this ANA business product since the seating seems so much better than JAL's.
ANA's Japanese meal options in economy class are already some of the tastiest in the air, imo. So between choosing a Japanese meal vs the International option, the former wins hands down for me.

As someone who tends to fly with Japan Airlines when flying to Tokyo, this has certainly opened my eyes to an alternative.

Outstanding business class product. Appeared very comfortable with a top notch menu. T3 looks as expected, quite the contrast to T1 or T2.

No, it wasn’t fixed. The blind goes down when the crew turn the aircraft into night mode. The down button remained busted!
Face mist is popular because airplane air is dry and makes your face feel dry.
(My tip: moisturize heavily in the duty free shops before your flight)
