Thank you for sharing! Although dated, those seats are great for an overnight flight, especially if traveling with a partner (vs. sitting next to a stranger). I flew LATAM R/T from the USA to Buenos Aires (overnight) and arrived so refreshed. Pre-pandemic, the service and food was excellent.
Yes these seats are comfortable to sleep in and don’t feel like a coffin like some seats. These are similar to what Turkish offers on their 777’s and A330’s which I feel more rested in than their new Business Class on their 787’s and A350’s.
Thanks for the reviews. Since you've flown both Business Class and Economy on the 787-8, do you think Business Class is worth $1000 upgrade over Economy on an 11 hour LATAM flight JFK-SCL?
On the 787-8 with no privacy I would say no. If it was on their 787-9 and you could guarantee the new Business Class seats then yes ( select 787-9’s have the new Business Class seats ). That is just my opinion but if your traveling with someone I could see it being worth it as the seats on 787-8 are comfortable to sleep in.
@@BrandonJohnson10K Thanks for the opinion. That's what I was thinking and I'm traveling solo. I may see if I can get the upgrade for half that anount and then maybe it's worth it.
