THE UK ROCKS as far as aero modelling. It reminds me of the US in the 1970s. Love it. I'm old from CALIFORNIA USA. I love the smell of BALSA WOOD. My first scratch built and designed plane was a P-51 in 1969 when I was 9 years old. Love the smell of dope stick and tissue.
Great job on the videos! Can you do a video on your tail wheel install? Brand, type, home made, etc. I'm scouring the internet to find the best brand/type for this application. Thanks!
Just a heads up for anyone also in the UK, what was said in this video was almost correct, just make sure you put your OPERATOR id on the aircraft and not your flyer id(starts FLY- ). Absolutely stellar tutorial though 👌, is it possible to mod this with ailerons in the future?
Have just built the original; made a few adjustments in line with your later version. I put in some soft balsa at top of fuselage cabin area to give additional support for wings with wing seating tape. Just waiting for weather now!
Wuz just girding my loins for an SE5a. Don't like the idea of a CIA id if it's over the weight... still, you saved me a herd of effort & wonga. Sorry brah, tempted but I'm now out, enjoyed vmc stuff.

Great video, but you didn't mention wind direction, vital for newcomers to know to launch and land into wind

Yes they make an 4ch wing for this model too so you can upgrade from 3ch to 4ch

Great video, just learning about this, too....

Haha so essentially you need a 'loicense' to fly a model plane in the UK now...
good music but the elevator music is bad
