Hi all,
Wood-psyche here with a power carving demo
creating a Female Native American, it’s interesting
to try a new face, you might be surprised- it’s
not always daunting as it seems.
This face started off at my friend Casey’s house,
then I took it home and recorded some of the advanced process as you see in this video.
I think it needs a little more work but decided to
share some of the work this point.

She’s beautiful! Extremely relaxing video! Rain drops on a metal roof, will put me right to sleep! I had to start thinking it was popcorn, but then that made me hungry! I carved an Indian with one feather ( one of my favorite carvings) but you just gave me an idea right at the end, when you did that last pencil in. I’m thinking of doing a face, sanding it smooth, then penciling a tattoo face of some sort? Hit it with some clear paint. Awesome video! Good stuff!

Thanks James, for thoughtful words, the pencils give some contrast as well as marking areas to address in the future.
Don’t know where I got that technique but it seems to work. Appreciate your thoughts.

which I’m excited to try next time.
