Some things are worth every penny hiring out-this is one of them.
That is awesome, seeing young guys working that hard. Gives me hope for the future! Also, what a thankless job! Good idea to let them do it.
We thanked them and paid them.😎
I used these guys a few months ago on my kitchen remodel in Sarasota.
They did great work. If you're local and need this service, I would give them a call.
Glad you had success with them as well Ron.
A crew with lots of experience really makes quick work of a hard job.
Yep
Kudos to the people doing this job. It looks like backbreaking work.
It was hot dirty work and I am happy the did it.
That’s a hard gig man. I started the same way. A demo hammer with sled, pulse vac and grinder. Cargo van and I rented dump trailers because I couldn’t afford one. I use a ride on floor scraper now. Best tool I’ve ever invested in.
Been there, done that, next time I'd hire those guys lol. That's a lot of work and looks like they did a great job.
They did and I would hire them again. Not only that, but their price was fair.
I see a 2k cfm air scrubber. 👍
Big project!
You were so excited for the walls to be painted 😂
Week later...
Take up all the tile!
Video are not the exact order of completion. We are months later as I am editing these. The bedrooms and bathrooms are complete. The electrical service was even later than the painting.
I was a little skeptical of that process but I’m now a believer!
It was a real world success.
Those guys are hired!
They did a great job
Dude looks happy .
Thats the way to work 😊😊😊happy happy
That tile looked fine
It was dated and ugly and of course a trench cut through the middle of the house to replace the cast other than that it looked fine😎
Lol music is funny in this one Ron. I sense the irony
One mans funny is another mans torture
My strong suit isn't music, but it seem to fit.😎

Kudos to those young hardworking entrepreneurs.
I agree
And doesn't this cause less or no damage to the cement floor?
I bet it's a lot cleaner than the way you guys were doing it...
I know it's a late comment, but I wonder what that concrete would look like if polished and a coating applied? I'm sure whatever comes will be great.
Gives those young guys credit. That's the hardest I've seen young men work in awhile 😕
lol boomers got everything handed to them on a silver platter, and they still destroyed the earth and the economy for the younger generations
most young people will never be able to afford to own a home or even to retire, we will have to work until we die
They knew that they were doing and kept moving all day.
We do a lot of tile removal in our business here in Tampa. Messy loud and big money
I looked at renting the equipment and the haul off cost. Contracting it out wasn't much more than my hard cost and I was able to do other things. Plus, I just didn't want to do it. I might have taken on 500 feet but not the 1,500 we needed done.
@@TheSmartWoodshop I don’t blame you

The driving motivation for so many things! :D
They did a great job removing the tile. For the life of me I still can't figure out for what reason the raised section of floor was installed!?!. Did they run plumbing pipes on the old floor and pour that slab on top?
it was a design style in that generation of home. Lot of homes in this area have it.
What’s your system for finding reliable day labor?
Hay Ron! How about some interviews with the tradesmen that are working with you?
That might happen in the future
Whatever you paid was worth it. That is a painful job to do.
It was a a great value for us.
How did you find the tile removal crew? We’re near your area and need to find the same?
The phone number was on the side of their dump trailer.

Are you able to do this and NOT have to rip out the baseboards?
You can but it's a very bad idea. Removing them is the way to do it.
I know that guy 👦 😏
Gary Busey???
