I recently read articles from pseudo critics that he was in bad shape and they shouldn't have recorded this concerts. Lemmy wanted to keep rock and roll alive and wanted to die on stage, yes he was ill but he pleased the fans with those concerts and showed death you have to carry me off stage. What a man.

What a gig. I got shit faced on home made wine and voddy, and woke up the next day covered in puke and sand on West Runton beach. Happy days. RIP, Lemmy, I loved you then and for many years since. I mourn your passing.

To be honest i don´t know why Phil and Mikkey didn´t stop him. they should have forced him into treatment. But who am i to judge anyone in retrospect. Lemmy is unfortunately dead. And there is nothing to do about that. R.I.P Lemmy.
It wasn't their place to stop him. Lemmy has said endlessly that he wanted to die on stage, and he did not believe in needlessly extending ones life. And sure enough he died on his own terms, he didn't go into a care home, didn't spend months in treatment and ultimately die, he went to his favourite bar for his birthday and died two days later.
