I take care of my mother who is wheelchair bound. After calling around to find prices to take her to a Dr office or to get her hair done. The cheapest prices for a 2-3 mile trip was $150. And the majority of companies will not come to someone's home to pick up from. I purchased a used Chevy Venture that is setup like the one in the first half of the video. The cost of wheelchair transport and price of wheelchair vans is just criminal.

It is. I use public transit a lot, and it's really convenient for somethings. But I have limited battery, and I have to have independent transport too.

They get totalled very easily in accidents too. There are zero instructions and all parts are custom made. Crazy expensive to repair.

I love the look of wood bowls so earthy, natural, calm vibes that the bowls give off

I've always wondered how those wheelchair accessible vans are made. I went on a field trip in a van like this.

The onyl flaw I see in their design is that the rear seats should have been folded to the left which creates a blindspot instead of the right since drivers really don't see that rearmost driver-side window anyway.

And pad the underside of the rear seat. The poor dude's head was 8 inches from the metal bits.

How in the world will EV’s be converted to wheelchair accessible if the entire floor is batteries then?

I would think something that looks like a Ford Transit, or one of those Amazon vans that are really tall, fitted with more of a lift like the special needs school buses have.
