You got to play my home course! You also played it really well for playing it blind! This course has made me a much better player, thanks for showcasing it to your viewers.
Hey Loren, long time fan and subscriber of Miss Frisbees' channel here. I'm curious: living in Germany and having my hands in several projects for new disc golf courses. What is your arrangement at the course concerning the mowing of the grass? Just asking because it seems to be such high lvl of maintenance.
@@SameThingEver They do a very good job, I agree. The course designer is a teacher who works summers for the parks department and has been crucial in making Echo the gem that it is. In addition, they have a crew with big mowers that mows a bunch of soccer fields so this portion of the park simply adds to the mowing requirement, but isn’t too burdensome.
By far one of the best courses in the area! You're only 20 minutes from Caesar Ford, which I highly recommend too if it's open! And the thing on the ground is called "Monkey Brains"
Can't believe you guys managed to be in the area!!! Would have been awesome to run into you! Glad to see you enjoyed the course and hopefully you get back to try some other crazy nice courses we have here in Ohio! Did you manage to get over and check out Hazy Shade??
you should go play faylor lake in central PA and while you're traveling to PA north boundary park and moraine disc golf course are all some of the most beautiful courses you'll ever see!
Love it! Play echo often… hope you made it to CFp while you were here. Imo better than echo. Still, gotta thank the great Carl Chiles for giving Dayton this beauty of a course!
I have had a disc run over by those enormous trucks twice now. My buzz survived well, and is just a bit flippier now. My envy was absolutely destroyed. Glad you got out of their way.
You all should play Lincoln Ridge in northern Kentucky (close to Waynesville, OH). Great course in the area. Also, the new Devou Park (also in northern KY) is really good as well. Both highly recommended and very close to Idlewild.
#3 and it's a nice course. Now you can go play Punderson. There's a reason it's #1 in Ohio 😀 I've played it several times. It's more wooded than this course. Throwing from the high deck over the swamp is an interesting thing. Check it out!
We sure are spoiled with the course - it truly exists because of Carl Chiles. A foundation of disc golf in the greater Dayton area 🔥 Caesar Ford Park DGC should be on your list too!
Inch or two more..... That's what she said!!!!!!! Lol that looked like a black walnut seed but bumpier. They suck to park under for obvious reasons. I rented a place in Barrie On with a big black walnut tree.
"The longs don't seem to be that much harder, they're always just a little back" heeheehee Have you two played Willow yet? The longs there are the same, but the course is....a little tighter than this one :)
@@missfrisbees Willow is probably my favorite course in the Detroit area for really forcing me to hit lines. The rough though? It makes me long for the bushes along the fairways of the Toboggan 😅
@@missfrisbees apparently if you want to play the current layout at Willow, you'll have to do it soon. There are stakes in the ground for changing the course, and the locals say the new holes are nowhere near as good... 😭
Hey while you're there head down to the corwin Nixon covered bridge check out the klu Klux Klan crosses. Grand wizard lives down there somewhere great town...
Chantel you have become such a good player and I hope to see ya on many lead cards in 2023.
Cool course, The green fruit you found is a "Hedge apple" that is also called a "osage orange"
and DO NOT try to eat them! Actually, even handling them can cause skin irritation.
I Also call these fruits “monkey brains” and you can actually eat the seeds inside after they’re roasted!
Oh btw that was a Hedge Apple, I don't think they are good for much but the Deer love them.
Loved Chris’s run ins and Chantel trying to be cool like Chris. You guys seem really happy together. Happy for you all. My favorite RUclips couple!
Awe! Thank you so much 😊
My home course!! So glad you guys enjoyed it. If you're in the Dayton area again try out Caesar Ford Park.
That course is nuts, nicest and hardest course ive ever been too
This is my favorite course I’ve ever played , so scenic and a great challenge , always happy when I go and play this course no matter my score lol 😂
Easily the #1 course in Ohio, love it, glad you guys liked it, I live 1 hour away
Try out Ceasar Ford if you like this one. Its near Xenia OH
@@chrism4008 yeah I've played that one several times, I like it too
The course looks delightful and you both were playing so well. Congrats Chris on the thousand plus rated round.

Yay! 🙌❤️🥏💥⛓
Played this for the first time about 5 weeks ago. From Dayton and absolutely loved it!
Your videos always cheer me up and I look forward to each one. Thanks Chris and Chantel!!!
Thank you for watching!!! 😊
This is a great course that I have played several times. Always fun and challenging.
Those pink mittens though! Little bit warmer than up here in NE Ohio. Fun video!
Nice of you to visit my home state. Hope you enjoyed your visit.

This was about a month ago and unfortunately we did not! I am hoping to sometime next year

You aren’t the first person to say that, will have to put it on our list!
Really enjoyed the banter and vibe of this video, the course looks beautiful too. Would be great to see updated in the bag videos from both of you!

“I was going to somersault, but I forgot I’m old.” Oh please… I’m 35 and still somersault. I’m sure you can!
You're wow wow look at that hole dance on hole four had me laughing for 5 minutes that was so funny you guys rock
So fun watching you play my home course. Nice rounds. Really hit those lines...and your putts! 👍
fluffy pink mittens are the difference makers for the hole breakdowns! would love to see them year-round
LOL! I might have to carry a pair with me next year 😆
Last putt tho 😂😂
It's an Osage orange tree, otherwise known as a bodark.
Which goes by many names;
Green brain, monkey ball, and
horse apple
Beautiful course!

Great series!
We call those horse apples in Texas. They are the fruit of the bois d'arc tree. They are not good to eat.

Great course.
This course is 5 minutes from my house. I LOVE IT
It's a hedge apple. They're not edible but are used to keep spiders out of your house. At least that's what I was always told.
Really? I’ll have to bring a couple back to protect my house 😆
@@missfrisbees Doesn't work, trust me. Lol
I brought Osage orange home In golf bag and forgot to take it out till next spring.I. didn't remember and was like wtf!?
I’d love to see you try Xenia rotary and Caesar ford!!! ❤ great video!!
They definitely keeps spiders away.
We sure are spoiled with the course - it truly exists because of Carl Chiles. A foundation of disc golf in the greater Dayton area 🔥 Caesar Ford Park DGC should be on your list too!
PS locally some people wanted to know if this was a raw round score or clipped / edited for content?
Carl has put more than 10,000 hours working on Dayton courses. A legendary and wonderful man!
Its an amazing course, we got some great courses here in Ohio
Great video!
This is the best course in Ohio we have 2 gems in our city in Ohio if your still in Ohio I’d enjoy to play a round with you guys
The Woodsman in Ontario OH is a fun technical course
We call those “Horse Apples”
Inch or two more..... That's what she said!!!!!!! Lol that looked like a black walnut seed but bumpier. They suck to park under for obvious reasons. I rented a place in Barrie On with a big black walnut tree.
Also, next time I'm on the course, I'll try "walking' my putts in.
Here I am living close by in Columbus and finding out about a great course from Canadians!
Who would have thought! 😆
great course…come check out Osage Grove in goshen ohio

Go visit hazy shade if you’re still in ohio!
In the midwest we commonly call those 'hedge apples', a more uncouth commonly used name would be monkey nu&*s. lol
I'm telling you, you crush that D4 every time!
It’s such a good disc! Unfortunately it is too beat in now, I need a new one!
Love how much air time the "Be lucky" EMac judge got on today's vlog. #teamjudge 🥏💪🥏💪🥏 You two are both great putters!!!
Go to Caesar’s ford while your here
14:54 that’s an hedge apple
It’s a hedge apple
Echo valley is the best
Put it in your basement to keep the spiders out of your house
Love your videos but in order to get to the next level as RUclipsrs might I suggest investing in some decent quality mic’s?
Definitely on our list 😄
@@missfrisbees sweet! Maybe Santa will get you guys one this Christmas 🎅
Great course. The back 9 lacks some of the magic that the front has but fun, fair, and challenging.
That's a monkey brain btw.
