No joke, I spent three days binge reading the entire trilogy last week (Wednesday-Saturday). I lost not only sleep but also my heart. My God, the series is intense. It left me a wrecked mess sobbing on the floor (delayed reaction, the tears came a day after I finished the last book). I imagine I will cry my heart out come this Friday. That being said, I was surprised that Matthew read the trilogy. He left a few roles out (spy, assassin) but he got most of it right. And Teresa and Matt are perfectly cast as Diana and Matthew! Can’t wait for the first season to air on Friday!

When she says yeah he is pale because he is British. The way he laughed if they were single he would have kissed her on the forehead for that. She honestly made him laugh and just went on with without missing a beat. Genuine love and respect between them 💕 even the way they are sitting if they didn't get along genuinely they would sit further apart and the way she touches him o his leg shoulder and tummy the are really close. He has very high regard for her💕

he really did a great job playing his role I really liked both of Matthew & Diana the most but especially him, he showed how talented he is and now im looking forward to his work bcz i felt he is really underrated, him and Diana both stole my heart and got me so excited while watching the series , its just have showed randomly in my recommendations and i went quickly to watch it, i have not been in love with a show recently more than ADOW bcz of these two and especially matt, im definitely gonna rewatch the whole series later on
Love this show! I was so over vampires until I watched Matthew Goode, he's a powerful presence in this series, quite a force of nature. love the scenes between his character and Teresa's. some of the writing feels like Underworld, but still love the show.
I have fallen in love with this show and now will buy the books to read about all the plot points that they cannot put into every episode. I just hate though that they are only doing eight episodes on this first season. It deserved at least 10.

This Interview is so funny in retrospective. I have just watched a new Interview with Theresa and she is pregnant again. So the second Season shootting has been postponed to June, which means that it will be up sometime around the beggining of the next year. And Matthew will be getting more breast feeding, but he should be used to it by now lol.
I’ve read all 3 (took me just over a week!) and I’m just starting on Times Convert now, which is Marcus’ story, but with Matthew and Diana (and I won’t spoil who else for. people who haven’t read all three yet!) 😃😃

Binged the first season yesterday (Sunday) I don’t have Sky so, had to use someone else’s. Then, I had to know what comes next so, bought the second book & read the whole thing, that is a hell of a lot to unpack, I don’t envy those writers at all. I don’t watch Downton Abbey but, Matthew Goode was brilliant in The Crown, so glad he got this role, he plays Matthew so intriguing & mercurial, yet absolutely devoted to Diana. “I was the only British actor not in Harry Potter..” 😂 It took me a while to warm up to Teresa’s Diana but, she won me over.. Season one was a great ride, I loved it, I just hope that season two is just as well done. So nice to have a TV show to be invested in again 😊 I’m so miffed there’s no special features on the DVD though 😔

If I ever go to Wales, it’s good to know that there are a variety of vegetarian restaurants. The next time I go to Britain, I’ll have to contact Palmer for eatery recommendations. London had some amazing Indian, Pakistani & Middle-eastern restaurants... however, in other major cities across Europe, vegetation options are quite limited. We had difficulty finding places in Lyon- a major city in Southern France! Plus, choices in Brussels & Brogues were minimal. We had to survive on poutine (forget if they call it poutine in Belgium- I spent my childhood summers in Montreal, so that’s what we called it) & ale, lol. Thank goodness for peanut butter.

I think people were expecting Diana to be the archetypal super powered witch like Hermione or (shudder) the Charmed Ones but she isn't and that upset a few viewers. Stick with the series she does get stronger.
