"Do you have a message for your fans Mr. Depp?" Johnny: "I'm scared to death. I'm frightened and I don't know what to do. I'm confused, and I want to go home"-- That shit is so sad. Everyone there is laughing thinking he's joking. I pray for him and hope that he gets through the shit he's going through right now and we don't lose another brilliant actor this year.
That's who he is. He hates speaking in front of large crowds, he was being honest. There's nothing depressing about that lol hes fine

He gets really scared doing interviews, he's better if he knows the interviewer or has someone he knows with him. He relaxes more, he has this fear that nobody will like him as he is as a person. Sad, he is so loved. I think it stems from horrible mental and physical abuse growing up from his mother, which he has been open about.

He is a handsome but weird guy..I met him in the Wonderland Mall of San Antonio, Tx years ago. He said hi and that many people knew him, he had black glasses and nice clothes and looked very very eccentric. 🙄

Depp is a phenomenal actor, hard to believe the guy talking here can become that Hatter character, world apart, brilliant, love his movies, his performances are always unique.

Anyway violence should never be justified and if he did it e should pay for it, the court will think about that, but honestly I find it hard to believe it, and please please please don't trust everything the newspapers say.

3:10 it's interesting how closed off his body language was when he talked about developing the character and the anxious hair touching, but then when asked about the people he worked with, he stood straighter, turned his body toward the interviewer to say he was interested in talking about that subject.

When Johnny said he was scared to death, he was frightened & he didn't know what to do, he was confused & he wanted to go home, even though he was smiling a bit when he said those things, it was obvious straight away to me that he really meant all of it. The look in his eyes as well. People were laughing but I wasn't. He probably just wanted to be safe at home lying down having a drink wanting to forget about everything. 😔😔😔😔 I could be wrong but I don't think so. Being a celebrity must be hard when you're shy as well. I'm shy and I couldn't handle being a celebrity.
To know now what was going on in his life and mind is devastating! It sounded like a metaphor of his real life and feelings at the time. Heartbreaking. 💔

It's so sad when he says that the hatter is " lost and so gone he is fading into death and nothingness and the only person who can help him is his Alice." Note how sad he looks when he says this. I think he was talking about himself and his current situation. Alice is probably his wife ... Sad that they are getting divorcing.

(This interview is May 10) The film premiered in London May 10, his mom died the 20th, The confrontation was the 21st, Amber filed the 23rd and got the TRO the 27th, the film released the 27th and his daughter’s birthday is also the 27th. All of course after the big blow up on Amber’s birthday in April and the business meetings about his finances. A lot piled together….
