Hi mate just stumbled across ur video now, I too have tried roll and tip with a 2 part polyurethane, with zero success, I was hoping to get some more details on the roller you used
Nothing exciting about the roller - just one of those smallish foam rollers, fairly dense foam, bought it at he hardware store. Usually used for painting kitchen cabinets or whatever. Usually come in a pack with a small tray, roller handle, and a few rollers. It's critical to keep the paint fairly thin, I used a thinner to increase the dry time so I had time to let bubbles work out of the paint. Also, the paint needs to go on in thin coats - don't put too much on at a time or it will run - or you can't get it to flow smoothly. If it's too hot/direct sunlight, the paint tends to start to tack up too quickly as well. You might want to look at this video of me painting my other boat using the same method ruclips.net/video/xgqblvqxjxA/видео.html
